Paw-activated electronic ball toy for cats. At your cat’s touch, the toy’s motion sensor will make the toy spin at intervals (a single cycle lasting two minutes) and turn on the nightlight. Between play sessions, the toy will automatically enter standby mode to save power. The toy will reactivate when its motion sensor is triggered. It’s possible to insert dry cat food or treats in the bottom compartment of the ball for the toy to dispense during play. Packaging contents: (1x) Catit® PIXITM Spinner ball toy | (1x) Spare feather

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

To open the Catit® PIXITM Spinner, hold the bottom compartment as you twist the fabric cover counterclockwise.
Insert three AAA-batteries (not included) into the battery compartment with the correct polarity (+ and -). (Important: See all instructions in the ‘BATTERIES’ segment below.) Close the battery compartment.
The Catit® PIXITM Spinner can be turned on or off using the ON/OFF switch. When powered on, the toy will automatically enter standby mode when left inactive and start back up again when played with. Screw the top back on until you hear it lock into place.
Insert the wand into the top opening to attach it.
As you do so, ensure the prongs and ridges of the wand and the top opening are aligned. To remove, simply pull the wand back out.
(OPTIONAL:) The Catit® PIXITM Spinner can dispense dry cat food or treats of up to 9 mm / 0.4 inch in size. To insert treats, twist open the toy and fill the bottom compartment up to the lowest ring-shaped marking. REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS (Catit® PIXITM Spinner Refresh Kit sold separately #43148) Replacing the feather:
To remove, pull the feather accessory towards the slit in the plastic ring at the top of the wand so that the elastic slides through.
Reverse this motion to reattach the feather accessory to the wand.
Replacing the fabric cover:
Twist off the top of the toy in counterclockwise direction, holding it by the fabric cover and ears. 10 + 11 Lift the top and cover to remove them.
12 Align the opening in the cover with the protrusion on the bottom part as you replace it. Screw the top on again until you hear it lock into place.
Replacing the batteries: Twist the toy open as shown in step 1 and carefully pull out each individual battery. Insert new batteries as instructed in step 2.

CAUTION

Ensure that the toy is suitable for the size of your pet. • Play with toys of any kind should be done under supervision.
If you see visible deterioration of this or any toy, remove it from the pet. • This toy is not intended for use by children.
Ensure that the appliance is placed on a flat, even surface. • Do not use this unit outdoors. This unit is for indoor use only.

WARNING: Important! This toy should not be operated by children 3 years and under due to the danger of suffocation from small parts.
BATTERIES:

Only use alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries or different types of batteries.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries should be charged under adult supervision. If using a battery charger specifically for use by children, batteries can only be charged by children of at least 8 years old.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

MAINTENANCE

Wipe the plastic parts of the Catit® PIXITM Spinner clean with a damp cloth. If used with dry food or treats, use a damp cloth to wipe down the plastic of the bottom compartment on both the inside and outside. The Catit® PIXITM Spinner is NOT dishwasher safe. Do not immerse in water.

RECYCLING

This product bears the selective sorting symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This means that this product must be handled pursuant to European Directive 2012/19/EU in order to be recycled or dismantled to minimize its impact on the environment. Check with your local Environmental Agency for possible disposal instructions or take to an official council-registered refuse collection point. Electronic products not included in the selective sorting process are potentially dangerous for the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances.
