Before operation read the safety instructions in the instrument manual. No claims of product liability or warranty can be honored, if the device is not operated according to the manual.

DANGER: Injuries possible
Defects and extraordinary loads: If the safe operation can no longer be presumed, shut down the device and secure it against the unintended operation.
The device must be presumed unsafe to operate:

If visible damage is evident,
if the instrument is no longer working,
if it has been stored for long periods under adverse conditions or after harsh treatment during shipping.
Do not perform any repairs on the unit. The unit must be opened by BYK-Gardner authorized repair locations only.
In case of operation using the external power supply unit, it is to be ensured the rated voltage for the power supply unit (see rating plate on the power supply unit) matches the mains voltage on your mains socket. How to disconnect the instrument from any power source:
By unplugging the mains plug on the mains cable for the external power supply unit or by unplugging the DC input from the external power supply unit to the instrument.
Use only the power supply included with delivery.

WARNING: Severe material damage
Only devices meeting the requirements for low voltage safety may be connected to the
USB interface.

Additional information on disposal
****Disused electrical equipment such as this instrument must be professionally disposed of. Do not dispose it in household garbage and make sure to observe the national law in your country.
