Safety Information
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble,
operate or install the product.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including
the following:
- Use fan only for intended use, as described in instruction manual.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
- Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the grille when fan is running.
- Disconnect fan before cleaning.
- Make sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid chance of overturning.
- Do not use fan in a window. Rain may cause an electrical hazard.
- Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
- Do not place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliances.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
- Always use on a dry surface.
- This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
- Do not use fan near curtains, plants, window treatments, etc.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock and injury to persons, do not use this fan near a door or window.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.

Polarized Plug
NOTE : This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). The polarized plug is not intended to be used in non-polarized outlets (having both slots the same size). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not attempt to modify this plug or override this safety feature in any way.
Power Cord Safety Tips
- Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
- To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
- To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
- Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to an authorized service representative.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
Plug And Power Cord Instructions
This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

User Servicing Instructions

Unplug your fan. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by using your thumb or a flathead screwdriver (not included) to slide the cover down toward the pron s.
NOTE: Ensure that fuse cover is completely open before attempting to remove fuse. -
Remove fuse carefully by using a small screwdriver to pry the fuse out of the compartment by the metal ends of the fuse.

Place plug on a solid, flat surface. Insert new 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse into fuse compartment and use a small screwdriver to secure the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment.
CAUTION: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 volt fuse. -
Slide fuse cover closed. If fuse cover is difficult to close, make sure fuse is secured in place by pressing down on metal ends of the fuse.

Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF APPLIANCE
WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a
slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
Preparation
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare
parts with package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not
attempt to assemble the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 5-1 O minutes No Tools Required for Assembly.
Assembly Instructions
- Align the two portions of circular base and insert the four Connectors of the rear base(H) into the four slots of the front base (G).
Please ensure four buckles are connected closely and the two parts are tightly secured.
There should be a “click” sound when the buckles are properly connected (Fig.

Feed the power cord (F) through the center of the base assembly (Fig. 2)

Align the groove and arrow at the bottom of the fan housing (C) to the arroW on the base assembly (which is near the central hole edge of the base assembly) (Fig. 3).
Push the base assembly into the fan body until a “click” is heard. Please make sure the three buckles at the bottom of the fan body connected closely to the base and all connections between the fan body and the base are tight and secure (Fig. 4). -
Locate the power cord holding bracket at the bottom of the base assembly. Gently pul any slack out of the power cord, place the power cord securely in the holding bracket and secure the power cord bracket over the power cord. Then thread the power cord through the “U” locating notch on the edge of the base assembly (Fig. 5). Stand the fan in an upright position.
Note: Do not operate the tower fan unless it is in its proper, upright position. Do not use without base.
Operating Instructions
Once fan is fully assembled (see assembly instructions section), place fan on a level and dry surface. Plug the power cord into a polarized 120 volt AC wall outlet.
USING THE CONTROL PANEL AND REMOTE CONTROL
This fan is equipped with 3 speeds, 3 breeze modes, a timer and remote. For
your convenience, the buttons on the control panel of the fan operates the
same functions as the remote control.

TIMER
|
Pressing this button sets the timer in increments of 0.5 hour to a maximum of 7.5 hours. After the timer runs out, the fan
will automatically shut off.

Example 1: ½hr illuminated indicates the timer will shut off after 30 minutes.
Example 2: ½hr and 2hr illuminated
indicates the timer will shut off after 2.5 hours.
Example 3: ½hr, 1hr, 2hr and 4hr illuminated indicates the timer will shut off after 7.5 hours.

MODE
|
Pressing this button will cycle the fan through different patterns of breeze modes.
| r The fan is simulating a NATURAL breeze
LJ mode by cycling through all the speeds.
. . The fan is simulat ng a softer breeze
– mode (SLEEP MODE) by cycling one speed higher and lower.
If both of the above lights are not illuminated the fan is operating on NORMAL mode.
SPEED
| Pressing this button will cycle the fan through 3 comfort speeds (High/ Medium/Low). This button can be used with any MODE.| t:j’\ ‘2’ 13′

OSCILLATION
| To activate the oscillation function for widespread breeze distribution, press oscillation button once. Press oscillation button again to turn off the
oscillation function. Oscillation can be controlled while the fan is operating.

ON/OFF
| Use this button to turn the fan ON / OFF.
When it is not in use, remote control may be placed in the small chamber on
the back of the control panel (Fig. 6).
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION/ REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove battery door by sliding downward in direction of arrow.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote following the directional guides in the recessed slots.
- Replace battery door by sliding upward opposite of arrow direction until door snaps in place.
NOTE : DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES. DO NOT MIX ALKALINE, STANDARD (CARBON-ZINC) OR RECHARGEABLE (NICKEL-CADMIUM) BATTERIES. SEE RECYCLER IN YOUR AREA FOR PROPER DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES.
If the remote control will not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
Care And Maintenance
TO CLEAN: Always disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet when
cleaning your fan. Light accumulated dust can be removed by using a soft cloth
to wipe away the dust at the back grille of the fan. Wipe the exterior
surfaces of the fan occasionally with a damp cloth (not dripping wet) and dry
thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the fan. Do not use harsh
cleaners or materials to clean this unit, doing so will cause damages to it.
CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE FAN AS THIS COULD
CREATE A FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD. THE FAN MOTOR IS FACTORY LUBRICATED
FOR LIFE AND WILL REQUIRE NO FURTHER LUBRICATION. NO OTHER USER MAINTENANCE IS
REQUIRED OR RECOMMENDED. IF SERVICE IS REQUIRED, SEND YOUR FAN TO THE
AUTHORIZED SERVICE FACILITY.
TO STORE: Make sure to disassemble and clean the fan before storing. Retain
the original packaging for the purpose of storing your fan. Always store fan
in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the
cord tightly around the fan, and do not put any stress on the cord where it
enters the fan, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
One-year Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that each new product and
service part is free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to
repair or replace under this warranty any defective product or part as follows
from the original date of purchase for a period of one (1) year.
THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND DOES NOT COVER:
- Products sold damaged or incomplete, sold “as is”, sold reconditioned or used as rental equipment.
- Delivery, installation or normal adjustments explained in the owner’s manual.
- Damage or liability caused by shipping, improper handling, improper installation, incorrect voltage or improper wiring, improper maintenance, improper modification, or the use of accessories and/or attachments not specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
- Repairs necessary because of operator abuse or negligence, or the failure to install, operate, maintain and store the product according to the instructions in the owner’s manual.
- Damage caused by cold, heat, rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments and materials, or other contaminants.
- Expendable items that become worn during normal use.
- Freight costs from customer to vendor.
- Repair and transportation costs of products or parts determined not to be defective.
- Any incidental, indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expense that may result from any defect, failure or malfunction of the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. You may have other rights which vary from state to state.
