Product Information
The product is a water boiler with a built-in heating element and a switch for selecting the desired temperature. It has indicator lights to show the current status of the unit, such as whether it is powered on and heating the water.
Problem
The light is off, and the water is not heated. The switch doesn’t turn into
the keep warm position.
Cause
- The unit is not connected to the power cord.
- The power cord is not connected correctly.
- The unit automatically shut down when it detects that there is no water inside the boiler.
- The lights or resistance are loose or broken down.
- The wire or heater tube is loose or broken down.
- The warm thermostat is malfunctioning.
Remedy
To resolve the issue, follow these steps
- Check if the unit is connected to the power cord and ensure it is plugged into a working outlet.
- Inspect the power cord for any damages and make sure it is securely connected to the unit.
- If the unit automatically shut down due to the lack of water, unplug it and allow it to cool for at least 2 minutes. The unit should automatically reset once it has cooled down.
- If the lights or resistance are loose or broken down, take the unit to an authorized services center for repair.
- If the wire or heater tube is loose or broken down, seek assistance from an authorized services center for repair.
- If the warm thermostat is malfunctioning, take the unit to an authorized services center for repair.

Do Not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
CAUTION
Ensure that the appliance is switched off before removing it from its stand.

In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-
out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and
off by the utility.
WARNING
Never carry or move when filled with water.
OPERATION
CAUTION
Before first use, boil the appliance twice and discard the water to remove any
dirt left over from production.

Place the appliance on a stable flat surface. (DO NOT position near hot surfaces or near open flames).

Insert the plug of the mains cord into a wall socket, taking care that the mains cord cannot be accidentally caught by passers-by.

Twist the Lid and fill with water upto the ‘maximum’ level shown on the Water Level Indicator . It should be neither higher than the ‘Max’ line nor lower than the ‘Min’ line.

Replace the lid, ensuring it falls securely into place.
WARNING
DO NOT OVERFILL – This will cause boiling water to be ejected from the lid. -
Make sure the environmental temperature indoors is about 10-38 degrees and environmental humidity is less than 90%

The heating lamp indicator should now light up and the unit will begin to boil the water.

After about 35 minutes the water temperature will have reached 97 degrees and the water-thermostat switches the heating element which automatically keeps the water at the correct temperature.

When water level reaches minimum mark, turn the unit off and unplug it from the electric outlet, before refilling with cold water.
SAFETY CUT-OFF
This appliance is equipped with a safety cut-off device, to protect the
appliance from inappropriate use. Should the appliance be accidentally
operated without water, or if all the water has evaporated, the safety cut-off
device will automatically switch off the heating element. If this occurs,
unplug the appliance and leave unplugged for a minimum of 2 minutes. This
resets the safety cut-off and you can now check the unit for any faults before
re-using the product.
DRIP TRAY
This product includes a free drip tray. Please note that this does not attach
to the main unit. Place the drip tray underneath the tap during use to avoid
any spillages. After use, clean the drip tray with a cloth and warm soapy
water.

CLEANING AND CARE
MAINTENANCE
This appliance has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a
minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper
care and regular cleaning .
WARNING
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning of this appliance, disconnect
the appliance from the electrical supply.
CLEANING
The exterior surface of the appliance and the warming base should be cleaned
with a clean damp cloth only. To clean the tap
- Move a brush up and down through the tap.
- Insert the brush through opening inside the appliance to clean the tap connection.
- Wash the tap handle in hot soapy water and rinse.
- Replace the tap.
DO NOT
Do Not use abrasive cleaners on any part of this appliance.
HARD WATER AREAS
In Hard Water areas, a build up of calcium deposits may become visible around
the element. This sometimes causes a distaste in the water. To help keep the
appliance in pristine condition, ii is recommended to clean the inside of the
appliance with a solution of 10% White Vinegar and Water. Boil several limes,
before rinsing twice with fresh water to remove the calcium build up and the
vinegar.
WEEE/ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Do not dispose of this product with household waste. For the proper treatment,
recovery and recycling please take this product to the appropriate waste
collection point. If you are unsure where this may be, please contact your
local authority. Improper disposal may be harmful to the environment.
FITTING A NEW UK PLUG
Your appliance operates on 220-240V-50Hz AC Mains and comes fitted with a 3-pin BSI Approved plug, so that it is ready for use for the UK or Eire market. If for any reason you need to fit a new plug, the flexible mains lead must be connected as shown below
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code
- BLUE: NEUTRAL (N)
- BROWN : LIVE (L)
- GREEN AND YELLOW : EARTH (E)
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows
The BLUE wire must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter “N” or coloured BLACK. The BROWN wire must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter “L” or coloured RED. The GREEN AND YELLOW wire must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter “E”, the symbol I or coloured GREEN.
DO NOT CONNECT EITHER WIRE ‘L’ OR ‘N’ TO THE EARTH TERMINAL OF A 3-PIN
PLUG
Always ensure that the Mains Cord is located into the Plug through the Cord
Guard or Cable Clamp, and that the Cord Guard screws are tightened to clamp
the Cord (outer sheath and inner coloured wires) in position in the Plug. Make
sure the Plug top is also fitted securely.
The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the supply cord is damaged, the
appliance should be scrapped.
This appliance must be protected by a 13 Amp fuse in a 13 Amp type (BS1363)
plug. Should you need to replace the fuse, use only an ASTA approved BS1362
fuse.
