Thank you for using the YN6000 LED video light. Please read the manual carefully and keep this user manual properly for reference.

Function Introduction

1. YONGNUO YN6000 is designed for professional photography needs.
2. Equipped with a U-shaped bracket, it can adjust the light fill angle 360 degrees to meet various scenarios.
3. Using 600 pes high-indicator lamp beads combined with a large light board provides higher brightness and a wider light fill angle.
4. Adopt an aluminum alloy lamp body frame to improve heat dissipation effect.
5. Equipped with a professional softbox.
6. The YN6000 supports double power supply modes, support NP-F series lithium batteries, and an external special DC power supply, to meet your demand of use in different environments.
7. YN6000 adopts YONGNUO exclusive LED constant current drive technology and definitely does not appear corrugated, stroboscopic and other negative phenomena when shooting.
8. YN6000 adopts dual LED digital display screen, the display effect will be more stereoscopic and the view of the power output more intuitive.

1. Please place the LED light in a ventilated environment, and keep the heat emission holes of the LED light from being blocked.
2. Do not disassemble the product, maintenance or repair of this product should be carried through by technical maintenance personnel of our company or technical maintenance personnel authorized.
3. When the equipment is running, do not look into the light directly and closely.
4. Do not use this product in a flammable and explosive place, or where it can be exposed to moisture.
5. Please keep this product away from the children.

Installation and fixed

1. Install the battery When installing the lithium battery, insert the battery into the card slot in the direction of the arrow; when installing one battery, it can illuminate 300  lamp beads, and the other functions can be used normally. When installing two batteries, illuminate 600 lamp beads.
   Note: NP-F series battery is applicable, please remove the battery when not in use.

2. When removing the lithium batteries, please press the battery lock and then take out the lithium batteries.

3. External power supply
   To ensure the long working time of this video light, you can use it with a special DC adapter made by YONGNUO. When you use YN6000 with an external power supply, please insert it to the port, rotate and screw up the aviation plug. The input voltage is 12V, and the electric current is 5A.
   Note: This video light is not under guarantee if the malfunction is caused by using a DC adapter of another brand.

4. Use on a fixed tripod

Method Application

1. Start-up & Shut down and Brightness adjustment
   Install the batteries or plug into DC main firstly and then press and then press the power switch to light up the LED video light. Rotate towards the right to increase the
   luminous intensity and rotate towards the left to reduce the luminous intensity.

2. Coarse/Fine adjusting Switch Button
   There are two tuning modes for YN6000. One is the fine-tuning mode, the other one is the coarse-tuning mode. It’s more convenient for the users to use YN6000 with these two tuning modes. The tuning modes can be switched by pressing the Fine/Coarse button. When it’s switched to Coarse mode, the luminance can be 10% adjusted by degrees. Press the button again to switch to Fine mode, the luminance can be 1% adjusted by degrees.

3. Battery Electricity Quantity Test
   When you press the Bat battery test button for battery test, and the reading displayed on the left digital tube is the battery level on the left. The reading on the right digital tube is the battery power on the right, as shown in the figure below, the battery power on the left is 30%, and the battery power on the right is 90%.
   Note: The battery’s remaining capacity tested when the luminous intensity is low will be different from the battery’s remaining capacity tested when the luminous intensity is high. The battery capacity tested is how long the service time of YN6000 will last under the current luminous intensity.When using the external power supply, you press the battery capacity testing button, the screen will show DC.

4. Channel switch button a. Short press CH to switch the video light to the channel you need.
   b. Assuming that channel H2 is switched, the channel of the remote controller is also adjusted to the CH2 transmission channel, and then the remote controller can adjust the video light. c. If you purchase more than one light of this model, you can control the brightness and switch in groups, up to 8 groups.
   Note: The wireless receiver of YN6000 needs to be purchased separately, after installing the wireless receiver, the remote controller or mobile APP can wirelessly control the video light.

5. Mobile APP Remote Control
   The product supports mobile remote control, the APP can be downloaded from the YONGNUO official website or downloaded by scanning the two-dimension code on the gift box, Mobile phone APP will be updated continuously. Please pay attention to YONGNUO official website for the latest version of the APP to get a better remote control experience. (Note: YN6000 needs to install a wireless receiver to use this function)

6. Install softbox
   This product comes with a softbox, load the softbox from the front of the camera light; then insert the four support bars into the light bar support port, then use the support bar to prop up the four corners of the softbox; paste the velcro of the soft cloth then you canuseit.

7. install the wireless receiver This product can be extended to support the YONGNUO LED wireless control system, and the wireless receiver can be used by plugging it into the wireless receiver jack of the YN6000.(Note: Wireless receiver is optional)
