WARNING: Read all the instructions and safety instructions carefully before installation and use.

WARNING: The installation requires some technical skills. Ask qualified personnel for help if:

  • you are not sure that the required installation area is suitable
  • you do not understand all the parts of the installation instructions
  • you do not have all the necessary tools
  • you do not have the necessary technical skills
  1. IMPORTANT: Do not install the product if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact your dealer.
  2. WARNING: Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the work area when installing and/or adjusting.
  3. WARNING: Never attempt to change or modify the product without the approval of the manufacturer.
  4. IMPORTANT: Handle the product with clean hands to avoid dirtying the awning fabric and other parts.
  5. IMPORTANT: Painted parts are covered by protective film, which should be removed before installation.

DESCRIPTION

The product is intended to provide protection from the sun and for privacy, and can be opened and closed when necessary. The product can be used on its own or together with other awnings etc.

INSTALLATION

PREPARATIONS

  • Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the work area during the installation.
  • Carefully unpack the product from the box and remove the polystyrene.
  • Remove the plastic bags and covers and carefully place the product so that it is protected from damage and dirt during the installation.
  • Check before installing that you have all the parts in the list. Contact your dealer if any parts are missing or damaged.

  • Percussion drills, 10 and 14 mm
  • Spanners

  • Chalk or marker pen

  1. Step 1: Choose the installation area Choose the installation area carefully to ensure safe and problem-free installation. Check that the wall is smooth, so that the brackets can be fitted securely.

  2. Step 2: Drill holes and fit the wall bracket.
    Mark out and drill holes for the wall bracket. Measure out and mark the positions of the brackets on the wall. See diagram for installation dimensions. Drill holes at the marked points with a 10 mm percussion drill. The holes should be 4.5 cm deep.

  4. Step 4: Installing the post

Mark out and drill holes for the post bracket. Drill holes at the marked points with a 14 mm percussion drill. The holes should be 7 cm deep.

WARNING: The post must be installed at the same height as the awning.

DISMANTLING

  • Fold in the product completely before dismantling.
  • Dismantle the product by following the installation instructions in the reverse order.
  • The drilled holes in the wall should be sealed in accordance with professional building standards.
    IMPORTANT: Follow all the instructions and safety instructions when dismantling.

OPERATION

WARNING:

  • The product is only intended to be used as a sunblind. Fold in the product immediately in strong wind, rain, hail or snow.
  • Children should be kept under supervision to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • Keep other people at a safe distance when opening/closing – risk of material damage.

MAINTENANCE

Regular maintenance ensures that the product will work properly and safely, and last a long time.

  • Check at regular intervals that the brackets are secure. Tighten them if they are loose.
  • Check all screw connections every six months, and tighten if necessary.
  • Never use the product if it is damaged or if the connections have come loose.

CLEANING
Clean the frame at regular intervals with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent. Do not use strong or abrasive detergents. Clean the fabric every six months with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Allow the fabric to completely dry. Never attempt to dry the fabric with a hair dryer, fan heater or the equivalent.

STORAGE
We recommend that the product is dismantled and stored in a dry and protected place if it is not going to be used for a long time.

  • Check that the fabric is completely dry before putting the product away, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the fabric.
  • Store the product in a dry, protected place out of the reach of children.
