Product Usage Instructions
A. Configuring and Testing Feeder
1. Install Battery: Open the kit, install the 6-Volt, 5Ah rechargeable battery following the instructions.
2. Switch Panel: Locate the Timer inside the Feeder Kit.
3. Feed Times: The feeder dispenses feed twice a day according to the specified times.
4. Set Run Duration: Adjust the spin duration using the switches provided based on the desired feed amount.
5. Test Feeder: Press the test button for 3 seconds to check the spinning function; ensure to keep a safe distance when testing.
6. External Power Port: Use the external power connection for alternative power sources or charging the battery.
B. Adjusting Funnel Height
To adjust funnel height:
- Loosen the screw with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
- Position the funnel using the tabs and then retighten the screw without overtightening.
C. Assemble with Moultrie Quick-Lock Adapter
For 55-Gallon or 30-gallon Barrel:
- Assemble the Quick-Lock adapter by snapping bolt tabs in place as shown in the instructions.
- Slide the belly band ring around the perimeter of the metal drum ensuring a snug fit against the bottom structure ring.

CONFIGURING AND TESTING FEEDER
INSTALL BATTERY: Open Kit by removing wingnut located on the bottom and removing outer case. Install a 6-Volt, 5Ah rechargeable battery (MFHP12406; sold separately) by attaching the Red Alligator Clip to the positive terminal (+) and the Black Alligator Clip to the negative (-) terminal.
SWITCH PANEL: Locate the Timer inside the Feeder Kit.
FEED TIMES : Moultrie Photocell Timers feed two times a day, one time
after day break and again in the evening before sunset.
SET RUN DURATION: Slide Switches UP to set the Spin Duration as shown in
the chart below. To set duration, set the switch for the preferred amount of
seconds in the UP position. If more than one switch are in the up position,
the timer will use the duration with the highest number of seconds. For
example, if switch 1 and switch 4 are both UP, the run duration will be set to
20 seconds.
Note: Feed amounts are approximate and may vary
TEST FEEDER: Press the test button for 3 seconds or more to start the test spin function. The LED function will blink red for 5 seconds then turn solid red to indicate the motor should be spinning. GET AWAY FROM FEEDER WHEN THE BATTERY INDICATOR IS BLINKING.
EXTERNAL POWER PORT : Use the external power connection to connect a Moultrie Power Panel for an external power source or to charge your 6V 5Ah battery

ADJUSTING FUNNEL HEIGHT
To adjust funnel height:
- With a Phillips-head screwdriver, loosen a screw.
- With the screw loosened, use tabs to position funnel in one of the two positions by either pushing down or up depending on the desired position.
- Once the funnel is in the desired position, retighten the screw with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Do not over tighten.
ASSEMBLE WITH MOULTRIE QUICK-LOCK ADAPTER
55-Gallon or 30-gallon Barrel
Assemble the Quick-Lock adapter by snapping bolt tabs in place as shown.
Turn the metal drum upside down and slide the belly band ring around the
perimeter and make sure that belly band is snug against the bottom structure
ring as shown (Moultrie barrel only).
Slide the bolt through the belly band ring, spacer and lock washer as shown.
Tighten nut on bolt until metal belly band ring tabs are touching spacer on
each side.
Mount Quick-Lock adapter using (3) 1/4” x 1” bolts, nuts and washers provided
in the pre-drilled holes (Moultrie barrel only). Or use the Quick-Lock adapter
as a template to mark and drill the mounting holes (non-Moultrie barrel).
Connect Quick-Lock feeder kit to assembled adapter as shown.
Can also be used on a 6.5-gallon bucket.
NOTE: DO NOT LOAD FEEDER until it is standing up and in place (see Section D-4).
ASSEMBLE MOULTRIE 30-GALLON QUICK LOCK HOPPER
- Place hopper bottom flat on the ground, and slide the three provided angled leg brackets into the hopper as shown.
- Make sure to fully insert brackets as far as you are able to ensure the strength of the feeder.
- Insert two (2) leg sections into each of the square leg brackets. Tap leg sections into place to ensure tight fit. Flip hopper bottom assembly upside-down so that all three (3) legs are on the ground.
- Align holes of hopper top, then press sides of hopper bottom until it snaps snugly in place. Insert bolt through each hole, place lock washer on bolt and screw wingnut onto bolt until tight. Repeat for all 12 bolts.
- Note: Failure to properly secure two halves can result in leakage.
- After completing hopper assembly, install as many legs sections as are needed for your application.
- Connect the Quick-Lock feeder kit to the assembled hopper as shown
- Fill with corn/feed. Do not exceed 200 lbs. Install lid by aligning handles with notches in hopper top. Twist until lid rests flush against lid stop.
To install a Moultrie game camera or Feeder Power Panel (sold separately), thread included 1/4”-20 x 1” Phillips-head bolt upward through hole in lid handle and tighten bolt. Lid will hold up to 3 devices.
