- Do not lift the submersible pump by the power cable. Use a rope or chain for lowering into position.
- Ensure proper grounding and electrical connections.
- Place the pump in a suitable location for optimal performance.
Operation :
- Ensure the pump is not exposed to freezing conditions. The built-in thermal protector will shut off the pump if temperatures rise excessively to prevent damage.
- Use the pump for tasks such as emptying water from core drilling or concrete cutting, and switch between manual and automatic operation modes as needed.
Maintenance:
If the pump fails to operate, check for common issues like clogged filter
or hose blockages. Replace worn components like the impeller when necessary.
FAQ:
-
Q: What should I do if the pump does not start?
A: Check for clogged filters or hoses, ensure proper power supply, and inspect the impeller for wear. Refer to the maintenance section for detailed troubleshooting steps. -
Q: Can the pump be used in freezing conditions?
A: The submersible pump should not be allowed to freeze. Remove it from water and drain water if there is a risk of freezing. The built-in thermal protector helps prevent damage due to freezing temperatures.

Like any other electrical device, this product can fail due to the absence of mains power or due to a technical fault. If damage or consequential damage occur due to failure of the device, take the following precautions at your discretion:
- Installation of a water level-dependent alarm, that is either dependent or independent of the mains power supply, so that the “high water” alarm can be perceived before damage occurs.
- Check the collecting tank/chamber used to ensure it is leak-tight up to the upper edge before putting the product into operation.
- Installation of backflow protection devices for drainage objects where damage can occur due to waste-water leakage after product failure.
- Installation of an additional product that can compensate for the failure of the product.

Pumped medium | Minimum: 1 °C – maximum: 50 °C |
Transport/storage
- The submersible pump must be moved or lifted only by its carry handle.
- When stored in dry conditions, the submersible pump is frost-resistant down to -20 °C.
Never use the power supply cable to move or lift the submersible pump!
Use the rope or chain to lower the device into place.

- Use the rope or chain to lower the device into place.
EMC
When our standard submersible pumps and accessories are installed as specified
and used as intended, the products meet the protective requirements of the EMC
Directive 2014/30/EC, and are suitable for domestic and commercial use when
connected to the public power supply network. If connected to an industrial
power supply network within an industrial facility, where the power supply is
provided by an in-house high-voltage transformer, there may be insufficient
immunity to interference.
INSTALLATION
OPERATION
Connecting the pump permanently to the building’s drainage system or using it to protect against back- flow (EN 12056-4) is not permitted.
- The submersible pump is not suitable for pump-ing aggressive media!
- The submersible pump must not be operated unless the foot strainer is fitted!
- The submersible pump must not be operated unless it is in an upright position!
Mains power connection
Connect the submersible pump only to a socket that has been properly installed
in accordance with the regulations and is fitted with at least a 10 A (delay)
fuse and a residual-current circuit breaker(≤30 mA).
- Warning!
- Once the submersible pump has cooled down, it will switch on again automatically! Danger of injury!
Never touch or hold the submersible pump during its cooling down phase.
Mobile use
The submersible pump pumps water from a minimum depth of 5 mm. Draining roof
areas, patios, puddles on outdoor surfaces
- Emptying flooded cellars, swimming pools, garden ponds, excavation pits
- Extracting
wastewater from borehole drilling or concrete cutting operations
Level control Can be switched between manual and automatic operation
-
Manual operation
The pump is switched on, regardless of the water level. -
Automatic operation
The submersible pump is switched on and off depending on the water level.
Automatic operation with follow-up time
- The end of the pumping process is determined by a dynamic follow-up time.
- This varies between 3 and 90 seconds depending on the inflow rate.
- If the main power plug is disconnected, the follow-up time will be reset.
SERVICING/MAINTENANCE
Note!
Water that is rich in iron or lime can damage the seals and thus also the
pump’s motor over time.
- Check the power supply cable for mechanical and chemical dam-age. Damaged cables must be replaced.
- Clean the submersible pump at regular intervals, as the hardness of the water dictates.
- Clean the pump strainer and electrodes (Simer 6S) at regular intervals
