  • Close cover and allow food to cook for desired time. (See cooking chart.)

Note
Always use heatproof plastic, nylon or wood utensils to avoid scratching nonstick surface of grill plates. Never use metal skewers, tongs, forks or knives.

  • When finished cooking, unplug the appliance.
  • Allow the drip tray to cool before removing it from under the grill. Wash and dry the drip tray after each use. It can also be washed in the upper rack of the dishwasher.

SUGGESTED COOKING CHART

The cooking times and temperatures in the below chart are meant to be used as a guideline only. Cooking time will depend upon the food thickness and cut being used. Use a meat thermometer to test for doneness by inserting the thermometer into the thickest portion of the meat. For reasons of personal preference, you may choose to cook food to a higher temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be properly grilled with this?****

This grill will heat uniformly from the top to the bottom. Normally, chicken can be cooked to an internal temperature of 165° F in 9 to 11 minutes.

What is the cooking space in square inches?****

This grill has a cooking surface area of 60 square inches.

Is this one good?****

Although there is no on/off switch, you can turn it off by unplugging it. If plates aren’t cleaned while hot, they won’t come out, and cleaning can be difficult. My own has been put to use three times, but I wish I had spent a little more money to get one with more features.

Is there a drip tray here? Physical tray has more than one side at which to drip. u know the tray. Thanks, Judith Miller****

I found this grill to be burnt rather than cooked and there was no way to change the heat. It only had a drip tray in the front.

Does this work well to make hot dogs?****

Yes, the majority of meats respond well to it.

Is there an on/off switch on it?****

It has no power button, like other grills. As long as the grill is plugged in, power and heat will remain.

Can you make panini on this level, flat grill?****

The grill doesn’t open flat on the bottom.

Can I use this in my truck? Four group 31 agm batteries power my apu. I once tried using an air fryer, but the moment I turned it on, my computer crashed.****

All of our grills can only be used in outlets that are 120 volts in voltage.

Does the warranty cover coating peeling?****

The grill’s overall functionality is unaffected by the nonstick coating, which would only make cleaning the grill more difficult.

Can this be connected to a USB port?****

I couldn’t find a USB port or outlet on the device. I can only see using it with a typical household wall plug.

What does watt mean?****

1,000 watts, 120 volts, 60 hertz, and 8.3 amps are used to power this grill.
