environment when used with SRAM accessories supplied or designated for this
product. To satisfy FCC and IC exposure requirements, a separation distance of
at least 1.5 cm (3.5cm for 12300) must be maintained between the antenna of
this device and persons during device operation. The use of any other
accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC PART 1 SUBPART I, PART 2
SUBPART J or IC RSS 102 RF exposure guidelines.
This device meets the FCC requirements for exposure to radio waves. This
device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for
exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications
Commission of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard employs a unit of
measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set
by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating
positions accepted by the FCC with the EUT transmitting at the specified power
level in different channels. The FCC has granted Equipment Authorization for
this device with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the
