Product Information

The SRAM AXS App is a free application available in app stores that allows users to create an account, add their components, and customize their SRAM AXS experience. For complete installation, adjustment, and usage instructions, users can visit the website www.sram.com/service. The app is available in multiple languages including English, Italian, Dutch, and German. The product comes with a derailleur battery block and battery cover to prevent battery damage or depletion.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Charging the Battery: To charge the battery, remove the battery cover and plug it into a power source. It may take up to one hour to reach a full charge. The amber LED indicates the battery is charging, and the green LED indicates the battery is charged. Do not discard the derailleur battery block or the battery cover.
2. Installing the Derailleur Battery: When installing the derailleur battery, make sure the latch snaps into place correctly to avoid any issues.
3. Pairing the System: Pair the system by beginning the pairing session at the derailleur. Press and hold the AXSTM button on the derailleur until the green LED blinks slowly, then release. Next, press and hold the AXS button on the controller until the green LED blinks quickly, then release. To end the pairing session, press and release the AXS button on the derailleur. Verify the system is paired by shifting the derailleur in both directions.
4. Shifting: To shift gears, use the controller to adjust the derailleur in both directions.

Remove Protective Covers

NOTICE: Do not discard the derailleur battery block (A) or the battery cover (B). To prevent battery damage or depletion, install the derailleur battery block and battery cover whenever the battery is not installed.

Battery Installation

Battery Charging

• It may take up to one hour to reach a full charge. The amber LED indicates the battery is charging, and the green LED indicates the battery is charging.

Derailleur Battery Installation

• When installed correctly, the latch will snap into place.

Pairing

1. Begin the pairing session at the derailleur. Press and hold the AXS™ button on the derailleur until the green LED blinks slowly, then release.
2. Press and hold the AXS button on the controller until the green LED blinks quickly, then release.
3. To end the pairing session, press and release the AXS button on the derailleur. Verify the system is paired by shifting the derailleur in both directions.

Shifting

1. To move the derailleur inboard to a larger cog, press the controller paddle downward.
   • Press and hold the paddle for multiple shifts.
2. To move the derailleur outboard to a smaller cog, press the controller paddle upward, or press down on the forward paddle. Press and hold the paddle for multiple shifts.

Ride Time

• The LED illuminates when a shift is performed. The color of the LED indicates the ride time remaining.
