SRAM RDMB2 Eagle AXS Transmission
Product Information
The SRAM AXS App is a free application available in app stores. It allows users to create an account, add components, and customize their SRAM AXS experience. For complete installation and usage instructions, visit the website www.sram.com/service.
Product Usage Instructions

Download and install the SRAM AXS App from your app store.

Add your components to the app to customize your SRAM AXS experience.

To charge the battery, connect it to a power source using the provided charger. It may take up to one hour to reach a full charge. The amber LED indicates that the battery is charging, while the green LED indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Ensure you do not discard the derailleur battery block (A) or the battery cover (B). Install them whenever the battery is not in use to prevent damage or depletion.

To install the derailleur battery correctly, align it with the designated slot and press it until you hear a snap.

Begin the pairing session at the derailleur by pressing and holding the AXSTM button until the green LED blinks slowly, then release.

If you are using two AXS pod controllers for your bicycle setup, pair the right controller first. Press and hold the AXS button on the controller until the green LED blinks quickly, then release.

For shifting gears, follow the instructions provided by the SRAM AXS App.
Ride Time
The LED illuminates when a shift is performed. The color of the LED indicates the ride time remaining.
Pairing
- Begin the pairing session at the derailleur. Press and hold the AXS™ button on the derailleur until the green LED blinks slowly, then release.
- For bicycle setups using two AXS pod controllers, pair the right controller first. Press and hold the AXS button on the controller until the green LED blinks quickly, then release.
- To end the pairing session, press and release the AXS button on the derailleur. Verify the system is paired by shifting the derailleur in both directions.
Shifting
- To move the derailleur inboard to a larger cog, press the lower button on the right controller.
- To move the derailleur outboard to a smaller cog, press the upper button on the right controller.
Derailleur Battery Installation
When installed correctly, the latch will snap into place.
Battery Charging
It may take up to one hour to reach a full charge. The amber LED indicates the battery is charging, and the green LED indicates the battery is charged.
Remove Protective Covers
NOTICE
Do not discard the derailleur battery block (A) or the battery cover (B). To
prevent battery damage or depletion, install the derailleur battery block and
battery cover whenever the battery is not installed.
