Caution: This new fixture has a durable finish; however, extra care should be exercised during installation, when rough handling and dropped tools may cause damage.
Instructions
- Inspect product, and if necessary, report damage to the distributor, requesting their advice on how to proceed.
- Protect the product during installation and construction by using this corrugated container as indicated. Cut along the dotted lines and place the cut-out corrugated protector into the center of the fixture.
- Measure product dimensions, then frame construction area to suit, using 2×4 stringer for support.
- Test-fit the product in position, checking for level front to back and left to right, as well as alignment of plumbing attachments. Ensure the floor provides solid flat and level support for the entire pad to rest upon. If not, flatten and level the floor to be solid (i.e. cured) with proper leveling compound applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. DO NOT shim the pad.
- Use roofing nails or drywall screws with washers to secure top of tile flange to wall studs as detailed:

- Drain assembly, faucet and the shower head should be installed to manufacturer’s specifications. Over-tightening the drain can damage this fixture. Caulking should be used to seal the gap between apron panel and floor.
CARE AND CLEANING
Clean with warm water, soft cloth or nylon brush, and a mild detergent like
“ZUD” or “Barkeepers Friend” according to cleaner directions.
NEVER use abrasive scouring powders, cleaners or pads.
