INSTALLATION

INSTALLING THE DOORBELL CHIME
- Plug in the doorbell chime at the desired location

INSTALLING THE BATTERY TO DOORBELL BUTTON
- Rotate the battery cover and remove it.
- Insert the battery according to the direction shown in the figure, with the positive pole facing outward and the negative pole facing inward

TESTING THE DOORBELL BUTTON AND DOORBELL CHIME
- Temporarily position the doorbell button where it will be mounted.
- Press the doorbell button to verify the doorbell chime and doorbell button work properly.
- If the doorbell chime does not sound, move the doorbell chime closer to the doorbell button and test again.
NOTE: Do not permanently mount the doorbell button until the doorbell button and doorbell chime are working properly.
NOTE: The doorbell button and doorbell chime come synced from the factory. The range of the wireless doorbell chime can vary with location, temperature, and battery condition. Test the doorbell button to ensure the doorbell chime and doorbell buttons are working properly.

MOUNTING THE DOORBELL BUTTON
Use either screws or double-sided tape to mount the doorbell button.
- To mount with a screw, remove the back of the doorbell button by pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small screwdriver. Place the doorbell button back on the door jamb and mark the two screw holes. Attach with screws and snap on the front of the doorbell button.
- When attaching the doorbell button with double-sided tape, remove the paper from both sides of the double-sided tape and apply to a clean surface.
OPERATION
- ADJUSTING THE DOORBELL CHIME VOLUME The doorbell chime has an adjustable volume control located on the side. Press and release the volume adjust button to adjust the volume one step at a time.
- SELECTING A TUNE The doorbell chime allows you to customize your doorbell chime sound with front door tunes. The doorbell chime has ten pre-loaded selectable “front door” tunes.
- Press and release the “Sync/Music” until the desired tune is heard.
- While the desired tune is playing, press the doorbell button to lock in the selected tune.
NOTE: Each doorbell button can be assigned its own unique tune.
NOTE: To listen to the selected tune, press and release the “Sync/Music” button.
NOTE: Doorbell chime is designed to work with up to 10 wireless doorbell buttons (sold separately).

DOORBELL BUTTON CODE CONVERSION AND LOW BATTERY NOTIFICATION (ONLY WHEN REQUIRED)
Code conversion
-
Doorbell button and doorbell chime default code pattern: 100M.
-
There is no need to convert the code for the first time using.
-
Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, the
indicator light of the doorbell button will flash quickly once, it indicates the doorbell button has been converted to the 12E code. -
Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, and the indicator light of the doorbell button will flash for 3 seconds. It indicates the doorbell button has been converted to 100M code.

Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, the code can be converted between 100M and 12E.
NOTE: Only if the code of the doorbell button and doorbell chime is consistent, the doorbell button and doorbell chime will be working properly.
Low battery notification
- After pressing the doorbell button, the doorbell chime prompts “Ding Dong” 3 times, and the indicator light of the doorbell chime wil remain on for 10 seconds, this indicates that the doorbell button battery is low, you need to replace with new batteries for doorbell button.
DOORBELL CHIME CODE CONVERSION (ONLY WHEN REQUIRED)
Code conversion
- Doorbell button and doorbell chime default Code pattern: 100M.
- There is no need to convert the code for the first time.
- After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the doorbell chime prompts “Ding,” meaning the doorbell chime code is 100M. Within one minute, press and hold the “Volume” button and “Sync” button of the doorbell chime at the same time for about 10 seconds, and then you will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep,” then release the buttons, the doorbell chime will prompt “Ding Dong” which indicates that the doorbell chime has been converted to the 12E code. In this pattern, we should use 12E code doorbell button to sync and pair.
- After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the doorbell chime prompts “Ding Dong,” meaning the doorbell chime code is 12E. Within one minute, press and hold the “Volume” button and “Sync” button of the doorbell chime at the same time for about 10 seconds, and then you will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep,” after releasing the buttons, the doorbell chime will prompt “Ding” which indicates that the doorbell chime has been converted to the 100M code. In this pattern, we should use 100M code doorbell button to sync and pair.
NOTE: Only if the code of the doorbell button and doorbell chime is consistent, the doorbell button and doorbell chime will be working properly. You will need to re-sync and pair after code conversion.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM #1
- The doorbell chime does not sound.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
- A. The doorbell button battery is not installed correctly.
- B. The doorbell button battery is dead.
- C. The doorbell chime is not receiving power.
- D. The doorbell button and doorbell chime are not synced.
- E. The code of the doorbell button doesn’t match the code of the doorbell chime
SOLUTION
-
Make sure batteries are installed according to the diagram inside the doorbell button.

Check the charge of the doorbell button battery and replace if necessary.
-
Make sure the plug-in doorbell chime has power.
-
Sync the doorbell button and doorbell chime:
- Press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell chime until the doorbell chime prompts a “beep-beep.”
- Press the doorbell button within 10 seconds. The doorbell chime will prompt a “beep-beep” tone to indicate the doorbell button is synced.
- Press the doorbell button to ensure operation.

Ensure the code of the doorbell button matches the code of the doorbell chime. To ensure operation, they will both need to be in 100M code or 12E code. Refer to operation steps 3 and 4 for more information.
PROBLEM #2 -
The doorbell button battery seems okay, but the doorbell chime does not work after installation.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
- The doorbell chime or doorbell button is mounted on metal or near metal studs.
- The doorbell chime is mounted near a concrete floor or wall.
- The doorbell chime and doorbell button are installed too far apart.
SOLUTION:
-
Metal reduces transmission range. Use 1/4 in. to 1/2 in. (6 to 13 mm) wood shims to move the doorbell chime or doorbell button away from the metal surface.

Concrete may reduce range. Move the doorbell chime away from the concrete surface.
-
Locate the doorbell chime closer to the doorbell button.
PROBLEM #3 -
Doorbell chime sounds when not intended (false triggers).
POSSIBLE CAUSE: -
A. Doorbell chime is receiving interference from another wireless device.
SOLUTION 1: -
A. Convert the doorbell button and doorbell chime to 100M code (see steps 3 and 4 of operation).
SOLUTION 2: -
A. If the doorbell button and doorbell chime are in the 12E code, follow the below instructions:

Remove the doorbell button battery. Wait 30 seconds.
-
Press and hold the doorbell button for 10 to 15 seconds within 60 seconds after installing the battery into the doorbell button.

Press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell chime until the doorbell chime prompts a “beep-beep-beep-beep.”
-
To re-sync the doorbell button and doorbell chime, press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell chime until the doorbell chime prompts a “beep-beep.”
-
Press the doorbell button within 10 seconds. The doorbell chime will prompt a “beep-beep” tone to indicate the doorbell button is synced.
-
Press the doorbell button to ensure operation.
PROBLEM #4
- The new doorbell button and doorbell chime do not work with existing doorbell buttons and doorbell chimes.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
- The new doorbell button and doorbell chime do not use the same codes as the existing doorbell buttons and doorbell chimes.
SOLUTION:
- Ensure the code of the doorbell button matches the code of the doorbell chime. To ensure operation, they will both need to be in 100M code or 12E code. Refer to operation steps 3 and 4 for more information. Please call 1-888 543-1388 for assistance in changing the codes to work with the existing doorbell buttons and chimes.
