Product Usage Instructions

  • Putting on the Hearing Protector:
    • Slide out the shells and place the headset over your ears with the headband upwards. Ensure the ear cushions cover the outer ear completely for a tight fit.
  • Adjusting for Noise Protection:
    • The headband should rest gently on the head to provide effective noise protection.
  • Replacing Cushions:
    • To replace cushions, pull them out from the inside and fit new cushions to the rim of the shells.
  • Battery Information:
    • Equipped with a rechargeable 3.7V lithium battery. Use a USB charging cable to charge the battery when the battery icon flashes.
  • Switching Between FM and Bluetooth:
    • Press the function button for 3 seconds to switch between FM and Bluetooth modes.
  • Using FM Radio:
    • Select desired channels using the UP/DOWN buttons. Short press the buttons to adjust the frequency with a 0.05 MHz interval.
  • Using Bluetooth:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  1. Slide out the shells place the headset over your ears with the headband upwards and push the shells evenly upwards until the headband lies on your head. Please make sure that the ear cushions cover the outer ear completely and have a tight fit
  2. The headband should only rest gently on the head, ensuring that there is effective noise protection.
  3. If replacing the cushions, pull it out from the inside to take off the cushions and then fit new cushions to the rim of the shells. The ear cushion (part No.78299-1) and Cup padding (part No. 78299-3) can be replaced for ear muff 78299
  4. Equipped with a 3.7V lithium battery, rechargeable.
  5. Each time the function button is pressed for 3 seconds, FM/Bluetooth can be switched.
  6. FM radio
    • Select the desired channel by pressing the [UP/DOWN] buttons for 3 seconds, it will automatically select the next or previous channel available.
    • FM from 87.5~108MHZ, short press [UP/DOWN] buttons, the frequency will forward or back with 0.05 MHZ interval.
  7. Bluetooth
    • When “78299” shows on other equipment (mobile phone, MP3, etc.), touch it to get a connection. When “ON” shows on the LCD, they are connected. Then you can call and receive calls through this device. The music on mobile phones and MP3, etc. can be played on this device.
    • When you hear the phone ring, press the Bluetooth button to receive and end the call.
  8. Level-dependent
    • Press the Listen button(phone, level depend) twice quickly, level-dependent works.
    • Press the Listen button(phone, level depends) 3 times quickly, voice is reduced significantly.
    • When FM or Music(Bluetooth) is playing, press the Listen button(phone, level-dependent) twice quickly,
    • level-dependent working and the volume of the voice of FM or Music(Bluetooth) is reduced significantly. Press twice quickly again, it becomes level-dependent.
  9. USB charging cable included.
  10. An external microphone is optional, this option could get more clear call quality.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. The hearing protector must be put on, adjusted, cleaned and maintained by the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. The hearing protector should be worn at all times in noisy surroundings for full protection.

  6. Method of checking, charging, and changing battery:
    • When the battery icon flashes, use a USB charging cable charging. After charging is finished, the circuit will stop charging automatically. Only after the battery fails to open the battery box to replace the battery.
    • Ear Muffs complying with EN352-1 are of ‘medium size range’ or ‘small size range’ or ‘large size range’.
    • ‘Medium size range’ ear-muffs will fit the majority of wearers. ‘small size range’ or ‘large size range’ ear-muffs are designed to fit wearers for whom ‘medium size range’ ear-muffs are not suitable.
    • Warning: If users do not follow these recommendations, attenuation and other functions will be severely impaired.
    • The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limit sound level. Method of checking, charging, and changing batteries:
    • The audibility of warning signals at specific workplaces may be impaired while using the entertainment facility.

DISINFECTION/CLEANING:

  • Clean the outside of the unit regularly by using a slightly damp cloth and warm soapy water.
  • Let the ear muffs dry before reusing them.
  • Do not use brushes or other materials otherwise the noise absorption inserts or ear cushion could be damaged.
  • Never immerse ear muffs in water. Use only detergents that are innocuous for the user.

MAINTENANCE

  • The hearing protector radio, and particularly the ear cushions, can degenerate over time and may deteriorate with regular use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, for example.
  • The headband could not be bent or unnecessarily adjusted since the tension force is an important element in maintaining the insulating properties.

STORAGE:
