Product Usage Instructions
Installation
The ventilator should be installed in the bedroom or living room, high on the wall and diagonally opposite the door opening. Ensure proper placement for optimal air circulation.
Adjusting Airflow
The valve on the ventilator can be adjusted to one of 8 positions to control airflow. Pull down the cover plate from inside the room to adjust the valve. The valve can also be fixed in a specific position during installation.
Cutting Noise Damping Duct
If required, the noise-damping duct can be cut to a shorter length. Note that cutting the duct may reduce its noise-damping properties.
Optional Accessories
You can order the Alternative External Typhoon Dome Cowl (DCT4572) separately for exterior walls not protected by a soffit.
FAQ
What is the recommended placement for the ventilator?
The ventilator should be placed high on the wall and diagonally opposite the door opening for optimal air circulation.
Can the noise-damping duct be shortened?
Yes, the noise-damping duct can be cut to a shorter length if needed. However, cutting the duct may reduce its noise-damping properties.+
