Do not use this apparatus near water.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Charge the device with the charging cable and a power adapter or computer. Only charge the device with an adapter that is compliant with applicable country regulations and international and regional safety standards, including the International Standard for Safety of Audio Equipment or Information Technology Equipment (IEC 60065, IEC 60950-1 or IEC 62368-1). Other adapters may not meet applicable safety standards, and charging with such adapters could pose a risk of death or injury.
Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the device or other property.
Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
Do not attempt to disassemble the cabinet. This product does not contain customer serviceable components.

Important battery information

Warning: Your product contains a battery and charging system which is designed to work in temperatures that do not exceed 50°C (122°F). Leaving this product in a closed automobile or the trunk of an automobile where temperatures may exceed 50°C may result in permanent battery damage, fire, or explosion. Please remove your product from the automobile when you exit, do not place your product in the trunk of your automobile, and do not leave your product in any location where temperatures may exceed 50°C.
This product contains non-removable Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries.
Ecology
Your product must be disposed of properly according to local laws and regulations. Because this product contains a battery, the product must be disposed of separately from the household waste.

Precautions for the unit

Do not use the unit immediately after transportation from a cold place to a warm place; condensation problems may result.
Do not store the unit near fire, places with high temperature or in direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat (such as inside a parked car) may cause damage or malfunction.
Clean the unit with a soft cloth or a damp chamois leather. Never use solvents.
The unit must only be opened by qualified personnel.
WARNING: Strangulation Hazard. Children have STRANGLED in cords.
Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 3ft away)..

Caution and notices for users
These PRECAUTIONS point out situations which could cause minor or moderate injuries to the user or to the hearing amplifier.

You should familiarize yourself fully with the entire contents of this user manual before using the AR hearing amplifier to ensure personal safety and correct use. Contact the AR hearing amplifier contact center for support if you experience unexpected operations or performance.
Do not attempt to modify the shape of the devices yourself.
Never leave your devices where small children and pets can reach them.

These WARNINGS point out situations which could cause serious injuries to the user or to the hearing amplifier.

In some acoustic environments, over amplification can cause discomfort and damage to the patient’s hearing.
Do not use your device in explosive or oxygen-enriched areas.
Allergic reactions to hearing amplifiers are unlikely. However, if you experience itching, redness, soreness, inflammation, or a burning sensation in or around your ears, inform a hearing healthcare provider and contact your physician.
You may notice accelerated accumulation of earwax when using your hearing amplifier. This is normal, but see your hearing healthcare provider if you continue to have difficulty.
Remove your hearing amplifier for CT and MRI scans or for other electromagnetic procedures.
Never leave your hearing amplifier where small children and pets can reach them.
If you feel pain in or behind your ear, if it is inflamed, if skin irritation or accumulations of ear wax occur, please check with your hearing healthcare provider or physician.
If you have active implantable devices please keep magnets (ie. the hearing amplifier) at least 6 inches away from the active implant.
Do not cover the whole hearing amplifier while charging with the charging cable, e.g. with a cloth etc.
Please do not share your hearing device with other people.
This hearing amplifier is NOT intended for use by children. The hearing amplifier and accessories contain small parts which should be kept out of reach of children due to choking hazard.
To prevent damage and/or malfunction, do not modify hearing device, charger, or accessories.

6-Month Limited Warranty

Voxx Accessories Corporation (the “Company”) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within 6 months from the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned product (at the Company’s option) without charge for parts and repair labor. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of the warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), specification of defect(s), transportation prepaid, to an approved warranty station. This Warranty is not transferable and does not cover product purchased, serviced or used outside the United States or Canada. The Warranty does not extend to the elimination of externally generated static or noise. This Warranty does not apply to costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of the product, or, if in the Company’s opinion, the product has been damaged through acts of nature, alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident. This Warranty does not cover damage caused by an AC adapter not provided with the product.
THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY PURCHASER FOR THE PRODUCT. This Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY HEREUNDER, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. IN NO CASE SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER. No person or representative is authorized to assume for the Company any liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this product.
Some states/provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state/province to state/ province.
