OPERATION
POSITIONING
- Position the thrower in desired location.
- Step firmly on each of the 3 corner frame spikes to firmly implant. For maximum stability, drive large nails or stakes (not provided) into the ground using the hole in each leg section.
- The top of the base should be imbedded flush with the ground.
FLIGHT ANGLE & ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT
- The elevation of the clay targets are adjustable by removing the wing nut and moving it to another adjustment hole. Never adjust the elevation angle while the thrower is cocked.
- The elevation wing nut must be retightened following the adjustment. Flight direction is determined by the location of the clay on the throwing arm.
DANGER
- KEEP SPRING DISCONNECTED WHEN NOT IN USE OR ON DISPLAY
- THROWING ARM CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY
- NEVER STAND TO RIGHT OF THE THROWER OR IN THE PATH OF THE THROWING ARM
- NEVER STORE OR TRANSPORT WITHOUT FIRST REMOVING TENSION SPRING
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Clay pigeons only throwing a short distance – Make sure the Trap is firmly secured and won’t move or bounce. Tighten the nut on the spring which will increase arm swing speed.
- Clay pigeons breaking during use – Clay pigeon clamp is too close to the trigger. Un-cock the machine and loosen the wing nut and slide the clamp forward on the arm. Re-tighten wing nut.
