Product Usage Instructions
Hook Up System:
Using the diagram provided, connect the base to your computer, power outlet, and desk phone’s headset port. If the headset port is not available, connect the base to your handset port. Refer to the user guide for setting up optional accessories like the HL10 lifter or EHS cable.
Charge Your Headset:
Place your headset in the cradle and charge it for a minimum of 20 minutes. The base display’s battery icon will be blue while charging and turn off when fully charged.
Power On Your Headset:
To turn on the headset, slide the Power button.
Pair Headset to Base:
- For Voyager 4300, initiate the first-time pairing by holding the Power button until the LED flashes blue and red.
- For Voyager 4200/5200, follow the specific instructions for pairing provided.
DownloadSoftware:
To enable softphone call control, download the Poly Lens Desktop App from poly.com/lens .
Make and End Calls:
Use the Audio buttons on the base to make calls. Tap the corresponding Audio button or headset call button to answer or end calls. For desk phone calls, use the phone’s Headset button or manually remove the handset.

HOOK UP SYSTEM
Using the diagram, connect the base to your computer, power outlet and desk phone’s headset port, if available. Otherwise, connect the base to your handset port. See user guide to set up optional HL10 lifter or EHS cable.
CHARGE YOUR HEADSET
Charge your headset for a minimum of 20 minutes by placing it in the cradle. The base display’s battery icon is blue when charging and turns off when fully charged.
POWER ON YOUR HEADSET
To turn on the headset, slide the Power button.

PAIR TO MOBILE PHONE

Voyager 4300 requires first-time pairing. Voyager 4200/5200 are pre-paired
to the base.
- To pair the headset, hold the Power button away from the off position until the LED flashes blue and red. VOYAGER 5200 To pair the headset, press the Call button until the LED flashes blue and red.
- Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the back of your base until the base display’s Bluetooth LED flashes blue and red.
- Once successfully paired, the base’s Bluetooth LED turns solid blue.
DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE
Poly Lens Desktop App is required for softphone call control. Download: poly.com/lens.

HOW TO
On the base there are 2 Audio buttons: computer and desk phone .
Make a call
-
Tap an Audio button . Desk phone only: you hear a dial tone.
Desk phone only: Press the phone’s Headset button or manually remove the handset if you don’t have an HL10 lifter or EHS cable. -
Dial from your softphone or desk phone.
End/take a call
To answer or end a call, tap the corresponding Audio button or tap the headset call button.
Desk phone only:
If you don’t have an HL10 lifter or EHS cable, press your phone’s Headset button or remove the handset when answering a call and hang up when ending a call.
TIP Headset call control for the computer requires Poly software and softphone compatibility. See “Download software.”
TROUBLESHOOTING
No dial tone from the desk phone?
Adjust the switch on the bottom of your base to “A” for most phones.
NOTE Use “D” for Cisco phones.
No call audio from the computer?
Select Voyager Base as your computer’s default audio device.
Is the headset sound distorted/echoing? Lower your base’s
Listening volume or Speaking volume .
Need to pair your headset again? See “Pair headset to base.”
Voyager 4200/4300: Low battery during a call? Connect the headset directly to your computer with 1.5 m USB cable to use corded mode.
