- No, the SD card slot supports a maximum capacity of 16GB with FAT32 format. Using larger capacity cards may cause compatibility issues.

- Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
- Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference.
- Only use the appliance as described in these operating instructions. Any use of the appliance other than that described in these instructions will invalidate the warranty.
- The appliance must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not expose the device to high humidity, do not immerse the device in water, do not hold the device under running water such as a tap and do not place any objects filled with liquids such as vases on the device. If the device stops working after coming into contact with water, do not connect the device to the mains or disconnect the USB charging cable and all other connections from the device. Place the device in a dry place to dry and contact your dealer or the manufacturer’s service department.
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or heat sources such as heaters or stoves and do not place open flames such as candles on the device.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The device has an integrated rechargeable battery and is connected to a DC 12V /1,5A power source for charging. The power cable serves as a disconnect device and must be easily accessible. To avoid damage to the device, only use accessories and spare parts that are approved by the manufacturer.
- Only install the device in sufficiently ventilated areas. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
- Do not expose to temperatures above +40°C. When setting up the appliance, ensure that there is 30 cm to the rear and top of the appliance and 5 cm from each side.
- Dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries in an environmentally friendly manner and follow the disposal instructions in this manual.
- Only clean the device with a dry cloth. To clean the device, remove all connected cables and connections.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it will not be used for a long period of time or during a thunderstorm.
- This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only qualified service personnel may carry out maintenance. In the event of a defect, return the appliance to your dealer or the manufacturer’s service department.
- Never leave the appliance unattended and ensure that no objects are inserted into the appliance through the ventilation openings. This can lead to a fatal electric shock.

Headphone warning
Set the volume of the device to a minimum before using headphones. If the volume is set too high, this can lead to hearing impairment/damage over a long period of time. Therefore, use a comfortable volume to protect your hearing
Installation location
Place the device on a stable and level surface or mount the device on your car headrests using the headrest brackets supplied. Avoid locations exposed to direct sunlight. Soft, indirect light is recommended for a pleasant viewing experience. To avoid damaging the device, position the device so that no objects can swing into the display. Make sure that you do not place any objects in front of the remote control receiver of the device. This may result in the device no longer being able to be operated using the remote control.
PREPARE THE DEVICE FOR USE
What`s in the box?
Unpacking and setting up
- Carefully remove the device and accessories from the box and remove all packaging material from the device.
- Remove the protective film from the screen (remove the protective film from the green label on the display).
- Check that the accessories are complete.
- Insert the batteries into the remote control.
- Place the device on a stable and level surface.
- Before using the device for the first time, fully charge the integrated battery (approx. 4-5 hours).
Connecting the device

Connect the included power supply unit to the “DC IN socket” of the device and connect the other side to a suitable power source (AC 100-240V / household socket).

Press the OPEN slider to the left to open the drive
-
Unfold the screen.
-
Remove the transport security card from the drive and insert a disk into the drive with the printed side facing up.

Close the drive until it clicks into place.

To switch the device on, move the power slider to the left to “ON”. The device reads the inserted disk and starts playback. Press the STOP button to interrupt playback. The device can be charged during playback.
Notes:- Only the main monitor has a drive and an integrated battery. The second monitor does not have an integrated drive and battery.
- To use the second monitor, connect the AV/DC cable to the AV OUT/DC OUT connection of the main monitor and to the AV IN/DC IN connection of the second monitor. Move the power slider to “ON” to switch on the second monitor.
PREPARE THE DEVICE FOR USE
Mounting the headrest bracket
- Attach the bracket to the screw hole on the back of the main monitor and the second monitor.
- Loosen the screws on the bracket and attach the bracket to the headrest.
- Loosen the screw to set the desired angle of the device and tighten the screw again.

- Point the remote control in the direction of the remote control sensor so that the remote control works properly.
- The remote control works best at a distance of less than 5 meters and at an angle of up to +/-30° to the front of the device.
- There should be no obstacles between the remote control and the remote control sensor on the main unit.

BASIC OPERATION
This device has an integrated 2500mAh lithium battery. To charge the battery or use the device, connect the power adapter to the device and a household socket. The power adapter must comply with the specifications (DC 12V / 1.5A) of the device.
Battery charging
This device works with a rechargeable lithium battery (battery capacity
2500mAh). Charge the device fully (approx. 4-5 hours) before using it for the
first time. The playback time with a fully charged battery is approx.
3 – 4 hours if you only use the main monitor and 2-3 hours if you use both
monitors. The battery life depends on the picture and sound settings.
- Connect the included power adapter to the DC 12V IN socket of the device and the other side to a suitable AC 100-240V household socket.
- The status LED under the play/pause button indicates the current battery status during the charging process.

Battery is charging : The status LED lights up red during the charging process.

Battery fully charged: When the battery is fully charged, the LED lights up green. Disconnect the power cable to switch the device to battery mode.

Low battery : When the battery level is very low, a battery symbol flashes on the screen. Please connect the device to the mains adapter for charging.
Notes: -
Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the power cable from the device so that the battery cannot be overloaded.

Do not replace the battery yourself; this procedure may only be carried out by qualified personnel.

The second monitor does not have a battery.
Switch on / Switch off / Standby
- To switch the device on, set the power slider on the main device and the second monitor to “On”.
- To switch the device off, set the power slider on the main device and the second monitor to “Off”.
- If there is no playback, the device switches to standby mode after 15 minutes.
- To switch the device back on from standby mode, press the POWER button on the remote control.
- To switch the device from switched-on mode to standby mode, press the POWER button on the remote control.
Note:
- The second monitor must be switched off manually.
Select mode
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to switch to the corresponding mode.
- The following modes are available: DVD mode, USB mode and SD card mode Setting the volume
To set the desired volume, press the VOL(-) button or VOL(+) button.
BASIC OPERATION
Automatic switch-off
The device has a power-saving function in accordance with the European ErP standard, which switches the device to standby mode after 15 minutes without an audio signal. Press the POWER button to switch the device back on.
AV-OUT
Connect an AV cable to the AV OUT connection and connect it to a monitor (AV input). The picture and sound will be transmitted from the DVD player to another monitor. The AV output is active in every mode and does not need to be selected separately.
DVD MODE
Insert a disk into the drive. Various disk types (DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD- Video, CD, CD-R/RW) are supported. Please make sure that you remove the transport security card before inserting a disk.
- Switch on the device.
- The device starts automatically in DVD mode.
- Press the OPEN button on the device to open the drive.
- Insert a disk into the drive with the printed side facing the display.
- Close the drive until it clicks into place.
- Playback starts automatically.
- Control playback with the buttons as described under “Remote control buttons”.
USB / SD MODE
Play movies or music from a USB stick or micro SD card on the device. USB sticks and SD cards up to a maximum of 16GB in FAT32 format are supported. The supported file formats are WMA, MPG, MP3, VOB, AVI and MP4. Do not connect a hard disk to the USB socket and do not use a USB extension to connect a USB stick to the device and do not attempt to charge USB devices via the USB port. You run the risk of overloading theUSB port and damaging the DVD1052N device and the connected device. Proceed as follows to start playback.

Insert a USB stick into the USB socket or an SD card into the SD card slot. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot with the printed side facing up.

Press the CARD/USB button to switch to USB mode or SD card mode. Press several times to switch between USB stick, SD card and disk.

Playback starts automatically after the USB stick or SD card has been read in.

Control playback with the buttons as described above under “Remote control buttons”.
Note:- Please do not use excessive force to insert the USB stick or SD card into the device. You run the risk of damaging the connections on the device or the USB stick and SD card.
SETUP MENU
Press the SETUP button to open the DVD setup menu. In the menu, you can adjust various settings for picture, sound and the DVD function. The following settings are available.
Second monitor:
- To adjust the display of the second monitor, press the MENU button on the second monitor.
- Use the Up and Down buttons to navigate up and down in the menu.
- Use the Vol+ and Vol- buttons to adjust the value.
- Press the Menu button several times to switch through the various menus.

The warranty relates to material and production defects. Your device will be repaired or replaced during the warranty period. Unfortunately, UltraMedia cannot reimburse the purchase price. Damage caused by improper use, the use of third-party accessories, falls, dust, water damage and signs of wear (e.g. scratches, optical wear and tear) caused by the customer or external influences are excluded from the guarantee.
In order to assert the warranty claims, send the device with all accessories, a copy of the invoice, and the description of the fault to the address given below. Devices that do not have a proof of purchase cannot be guaranteed. Please do not forget to include your full address and a telephone number/email address for any queries Shipping to us takes place at your own expense. Unpaid parcels cannot be accepted and are returned to the sender.
