Product Information
The Mobile Bar Cart, the model MBC-8628PL-4K, has a maximum load capacity of 4,000 lbs. The cart is designed to be used on firm and level surfaces and should not be exposed to corrosive substances. This Cart is designed to support a maximum load of 4,000 lbs. DO NOT exceed
this maximum rated load.
OPERATION AND SAFETY
- Do not use this equipment if you are in poor health, taking medications, or drugs, or have been consuming alcohol, all of which may impair your ability to work safely on this product.
- Always use this cart in compliance with local or national laws, regulations, codes, and any other standards enforced in the location where the product is used. This is the responsibility of the owner/user.
- Inspect the product before each use. Do not use if damaged or if any unusual noise or movement is observed. Check for missing parts.
- Examine thoroughly to make sure the Cart is set up properly. If assembling or tightening fasteners, tighten all fasteners to the torque specified: Recommended Tightening Torque: 21 ft-lbs. Do not exceed 27 ft-lbs. Do not overtighten – overtightening can cause damage to the unit. Do not replace or substitute bolts, nuts, or other hardware that is of lesser quality than the hardware supplied by the manufacturer.
- All components must be complete, functioning properly, and correctly assembled. If a malfunction occurs, remove the product from service and notify your supervisor and maintenance personnel about the issue.
- Any incomplete part, missing part, or ill-fitting part should be replaced prior to use.
- Keep the product clean & dry. Lubricate moving parts. Proper use, maintenance, and storage are essential for this product to function properly.
- Use the right product for the job. Except for the addition of stakes as specified, do not modify the Cart and do not use the Cart for a purpose for which it was not intended.
- Steel stakes consisting of 1” pipe/round shall not exceed 33.5” in length. Wood stakes consisting of 2”x 4” lumber shall not exceed 30” in length.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 4,000 lbs.
- Always distribute objects on the Cart evenly and resting adequately on all three bottom cradle channels. Uneven weight distribution could cause Cart tipping or loaded materials to fall out of cradle channels.
- Be aware of dynamic loading. Suddenly dropping or bouncing a load on the Cart may create, for a brief instant, an excess load, which may result in damage to the product and/or personal injury.• This Cart must be used on solid flat surfaces.
- This Cart must be used on a firm surface that is free of pits, debris, holes, or obstructions.
- Acids are corrosive and can seriously affect strength. Do not expose this Cart to corrosive substances.
- Never move a Cart with a worker within.
- Do not use powered devices to propel this Cart. Use extra caution near operating machinery.
- Do not modify this Cart or any of its components.
- Do not remove any labels from this Cart.
- Always use this product in accordance with the instructions in this manual and consistent with any training relevant to machines, devices, materials, etc. used in conjunction with this product.
