Product Using Instruction
- Instructions
- After removing the staff from the storage bag rotate the measuring arm up and over the top of the staff and lock into position with the thumb catch.
- Thumb catch (locked)
- A series of images show the thumb catch at different stages: unlocked, in the process of locking and fully locked.
- Extend each section fully starting with the top section so that the lock snaps into place.
- Snap lock (locked)
- An image shows the snap lock mechanism in a locked position.
- Check that the staff is upright using the level on the staff (ensure the bubble is inside the circle).
- Level
- An image illustrates a level with the bubble centred, indicating the staff is level.
- Un-Level
- An image illustrates a level with the bubble off-centre, indicating the staff is not level.
- Slide the staff down into the lower section so that the end of the rotating arm touches the point to be measured.
- The height measurement can be taken from the top of the lower section, one side metric and the other imperial.

- To lower staff push in the snap lock and slide section down at the same time.
