TRICKFISH Signal Filter Bass Pedal
Congratulations on your purchase of the Trickfish Signal Filter. The Signal
Filter pedal is a versatile tone sculpting tool designed for musicians. It
provides unparalleled control over the frequency spectrum with independently
selectable high-pass and low-pass filters. Unlike traditional EQ, it employs
steep cuts at db per octave on bass and treble ranges, allowing precise
adjustments without affecting the remaining frequencies. The pedal’s high pass
channel includes a gain control to compensate for volume loss when
cutting the deep low end, offering musicians a smart solution for achieving a
tightened or warmed-up sound without compromising fullness or articulation.
Using the Signal Filter
Start by plugging a VDC adapter into the jack on the top of the Signal Filter. Connect an instrument cable from your instrument to the IN jack and an instrument cable from the OUT jack to your amplifier. Press the HP+GAIN footswitch to engage the HP filter and/or the LO PASS footswitch to engage the LP filter. Adjust the HI PASS GAIN to make up for any perceived volume loss from the HP filter.
- OUT: 1/4″ phone jack output
