PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Getting to know the reader. This item is a wireless handheld microchip reader that can read ISO FDX-B coded radio frequency identification tags. It has very simple controls and a high-brightness OLED display which allows you to read the numbers even in bright sunlight. With built-in memory, it is able to store up to 128 ID tag codes, which can be downloaded to a computer via a USB cable connection. Optimum performance ensures that it is a perfect deal for animal traceability and management.

Instructions

Press the button once and the unit will turn on. The OLED will display the following sign.

The reader will continue scanning for a microchip until either it finds one, or time outs. Once the reader finds a microchip, it will emit a high-tone beep and show the microchip ID number on its display. And if it fails to detect any tags, it will show No Tag. The display format will vary, depending on what type of tag was read. Here are some examples of what different tag types will look like on the display:

The USB cable included is for charging and data-transferring purposes. When the reader is connected, there will be a USB sign and the battery icon will show that the reader is charging. To download the stored numbers to your PC, please hold the button for 3s. When the transmission is complete, the display shows.
If you scan microchip tags with the reader connected to a PC, the scanned data will be transmitted to the computer in real-time.
- The reader will turn it off when not in use for the 60s.
