Operating instruction

- + =increases the current set value

- LOCAL/FOREIGN slide switch =Ifyou select ‘LOCAL’, the clock displays Central European Time. If you select ‘FOREIGN’, the clock displays the desired time zone(European time +the set time zone -> ‘F’ symbol lights up)

Safety Notes
- The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

Warning–Batteries
- When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity(+and -markings)and insert the batteries accordingly. Failuretodosocould result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
- Only use batteries thatmatch the specified type. Keep the instructions for the correct choice of batteries included with the operating instructions of devices safe for future reference.
- Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity contacts.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- Replace all the batteries in aset at the same time.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.
- Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not burn batteries or heat them up.
- Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.

Getting Started
- Open the battery compartment (7)and insert two AA batteries with the correct polarity into the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment.
- If the display remains blank after inserting anew battery, change the batteries or press the RESET button (5)on the back of the clock using appointed object.
Replacing the battery
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the product.
- Remove and dispose of any used batteries. Insert the new battery (AA).Ensure that the polarity of the battery corresponds to the symbols in the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment.
Installation
- Before mounting the clock, ensure that the chosen Wallis suitable for the weight to be mounted, and make sure that there are no electrical wires, water, gas or other lines at the installation sixteenth wall.
- Purchase special fastening materials from specialized dealers.
- Do not mount the product above locations where persons might linger.
Operation
Automatic date/time setting using the DC signal
- Once the battery is insertedproperly,the clockwillautomatically be set to 12:00 pm and its reception willbeactivated. As soon as the DC signal was received and processed (approx. 3minutes up to amaximumof15minutes), the correct time is displayed automatically.
- Do not move the clock during this process.
- If the clock has not correctly set itself after15 minutes, thereisaproblem with the reception or with the selected location. Repeat the setting process at another location. First, remove the batteries for about 1minute and then insert them again with the correct polarity.
- If ,during initial setup of the device, radio signal is notreceived within the minutes, the search is aborted. The radio icon will go out.
- Ifthereare reception problems, we recommend leaving the clock to sit overnight, since interference is generally less at night.
- In the meantime, you can start search for the DCF radio another location or you can manually set and date.
- The clock automatically continues to search for the signal on basis. If thesignalisreceivedsuccessfully,the manually-set time and date are overwritten.
