Assembly reversing light
Reversing Light Land Rover New Defender
- Cover the surrounding area with gaffer tape to avoid scratches.
- Remove the cover on the bumper. 2a. Bumper with cover removed.
- Remove the rear lights cover as well. 3a. Rear lights with cover removed.
- Click the reverse lights plug holder. 4a. Pull out the reverse lights plug.
- Disconnect the reverse lights plug.
- Plugin the adapter included in the kit.
- Reattach the rear light cover. Ensure adapter wire remains outside.
- Reattach the bumper cover.
- Crimp the connector from the kit to the reverse light wire. 9a. Heat melt the crimp connector.
- Clean the cover.
- Keep wires behind the cover.
- Pull cover strip from adhesive tape
- Stick reverse lights with metal cover into the gap. (Cover helps with correct positioning) 13a. Mounted lights including cover.
Finished reverse lights assembly.
