Thank you for choosing one of our KitchenLove products! Read this entire manual carefully before use to avoid personal injury and/or damage to the product. We cannot be held responsible for the consequences if the instructions in this manual are not carefully followed. INTENDED USE
These BBQ gloves are certified in accordance with the EN ISO 21420:2020 and
EN407:2020 standard, which means that they comply with the European EU2016/425
regulation regarding the safe use of Category II Personal Protection Equipment
(PPE).
These BBQ gloves are intended as protection against burns while cooking in the
oven or on the BBQ. These BBQ gloves protect fingers, hands and wrists against
burns.
The BBQ gloves are suitable for contact heat up to 250°C and provide
protection against limited flame spread. The BBQ mitts are made from two
different materials. The outside is made of split leather. The inside is made
of 4mm thick polyester with extra lining on the palms.
The BBQ gloves should not be used by children. Nor may they be used by persons
who require supervision due to physical, sensory, mental or functional motor
limitations.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Keep the packaging materials away from children and pets. They can suffocate
in the packaging material.
– Read the manual carefully before use. Keep the manual for future use.
– These BBQ gloves are NOT suitable for use by children.
– Use the BBQ mitts only for the purposes specified in this user manual.
Misuse of the BBQ mitts may result in personal injury and product damage.
– If the BBQ mitts do not function normally – especially if unusual holes,
cracks or porous areas are visible – DO NOT use the BBQ mitts and contact our
customer service team.
– DO NOT take the BBQ mitts apart. DO NOT repair or restore the gloves.
This can damage the BBQ mitts, reducing their quality and effectiveness.
– DO NOT use the BBQ mitts if you feel sleepy or if you are using substances
that shorten your reaction time (such as painkillers or alcohol).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
These BBQ gloves are only suitable for use against contact heat and limited
flames. They are NOT suitable for use against radiant heat or convector heat.
– Perform a visual inspection on the BBQ mitts before use. If the BBQ mitts
are damaged, DO NOT use them and contact our customer service.
– Put on the BBQ mitts completely until the fingers touch the end of the oven
mitt.
– When used against burns with contact heat: carefully grasp the hot object
and check whether a good grip is present. Then pick up the object and place
the object in the desired location with a gentle movement.
– When used against flames: DO NOT put these BBQ mitts in an open fire or
flame. These BBQ mitts provide limited protection against flames.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
– Clean the BBQ mitts with a soft damp cloth.
– Store the BBQ mitts at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away
from heat sources.
