Product Usage Instructions

1. Initial Setup

Before first time use, remove the paper record from the turntable and properly dispose of it. Remove any adhesive left on the turntable.

2. Playing a Record

  1. Select a record and remove it from its sleeve.
  2. Place the record on the turntable.
  3. Lift the tone arm and place it down onto one of the tracks to begin playing music.

3. Adjusting Volume

Turn the knob to adjust the volume. There are 6 volume levels. Make sure to check the volume level if you don’t hear any music.

4. Power Management

If left unattended, the record player will play music for approximately 3-4 minutes before entering sleep mode. To wake it up, lift and place the tone arm back on the record.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Wipe the record player with a clean, damp cloth. Clean records and sleeves with a dry cloth. Avoid using water on records as it may damage the label. Keep the lens clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

Let’s put a record on!

  1. Before first time use, remove the paper record from the turntable and properly dispose of it. Make sure to also remove and dispose of any adhesive that may be left on the turntable.

    Note: The volume can be turned all the way down to zero. If music should be playing but you don’t hear anything, check the volume and turn it up if necessary.

  5. Dance to the beat!

Batteries and Power

  • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the record player.

  • Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door and remove the door. Remove the exhausted batteries and properly dispose.

  • Insert four, new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.

  • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
    Slide the power switch to ON or 0 OFF.

  • When sounds or motion become faint, slow or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries.

  • If this toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power switch off and back on again.

Battery Safety Information

In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:

  • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable.
  • Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment (+ and -).
  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
  • Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
  • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
  • If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Care
