KIDDE COMMERCIAL KE-DB3010W Standard Mounting Base
Product Usage Instructions
WARNING: Electrocution hazard. Ensure all power sources are disconnected before installation.
Caution: For system planning and installation guidelines, refer to EN 54-14 standards and local regulations.
- Surface mount the base using 2 x M4 screws.
- Remove the three cable knockouts before installation for cable entry.
- The mounting base includes an optional address tag for device identification.
Using the Address Tag
- Remove the address tag from the centre of the mounting base.
- Add the device address to the tag.
- Push the address tag into one of the slots in the mounting base.

Refer to Figure 1 for wiring connections. Connections for each terminal are as follows:

Installation
WARNING: Electrocution hazard. To avoid personal injury or death from
electrocution, remove all sources of power and allow stored energy to
discharge before installing or removing equipment.
Caution: For general guidelines on system planning, design, installation,
commissioning, use and maintenance, refer to the EN 54-14 standard and local
regulations.
Installing the mounting base
- Surface mount the base using 2 x M4 screws.
- Three cable knockouts are provided for cable entry (see Figure 2). Remove the knockouts before installation.
- The mounting base also includes an optional address tag for device identification (see Figure 1).
To use the address tag
- Remove the address tag from the centre of the mounting base (by breaking it off).
- Add the device address to the address tag.
- Push the address tag into one of the slots in the mounting base (see Figure 2).
Wiring
- Wire the mounting base as shown in Figure 1. Connections for each terminal are shown below.
