Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Remove the left roof molding from the rear of the roof to the front. (Do not reuse.)
- Remove the six clips from each stud bolt on the roof.
- Ensure the left roof rail is positioned underneath the front glass molding.
- Install each cap to the left roof rail with the two retaining tabs.
- Repeat steps 1 through 4 on the right side of the vehicle.
Use and Care:
Check the roof rail mounting bolts frequently and retighten if necessary to
ensure proper installation and safety.

Information
Crossbars Installation
Remove the four covers on each roof rail as shown. Store the covers in a safe place in case the crossbars are removed.
NOTE
Do not remove the front set of covers at this time.
On each crossbar toot, turn the supplied key 90° counterclockwise to unlock the cover. Then, remove them. Identify the front and rear crossbars as shown.
Check the identification marks, and position the front and rear crossbars on the roof rails.
To line up the crossbar pins with the roof rails, you may need to slightly loosen the crossbar screws. Make sure each clamp is fully seated on the roof rail as shown. Loosely tighten each screw, then torque them to 3.0 lb-ft (4 N-m).
Install the crossbar foot cover to the crossbar foot with firm pressure. Then, rotate the key 90° clockwise, and remove it. Repeat for each crossbar foot.
Make sure the crossbars are firmly secured by applying pressure to them as shown. Store the keys and special tool in a safe place.

INSTALLATION
Client Information: The information in this installation instruction is intended for use only by skilled technicians who have the proper tools, equipment, and training to correctly and safely add equipment to your vehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by “do-it-yourselfers.”
NOTE:
- Be extremely careful not to damage the roof and other finished surfaces of the body when installing the roof rails.
- The weight of the cargo must not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 165 lbs (75 kg).
Installing the Roof Rails

Remove the left roof molding starting from the rear of the roof, and work your way to the front.

Remove the six clips from each stud bolt on the roof.

Install the left roof rail to the roof with six TORX nuts.
Torque them to 9 lb-ft (12 N·m).
NOTE: Make sure the left roof rail is underneath the front glass molding.

Install each cap to the left roof rail with the two retaining tabs.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 on the right side of the vehicle.
Put a copy of this page in the glove box for your customer.
USE AND CARE
Check the roof rail mounting bolts frequently, and retighten if necessary.
