Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions

  1. Open the tailgate and locate the two screws and remove them.
  2. Remove the taillight by pulling it straight out.
  3. Remove all sockets from the taillight housing.
  4. Remove the bulbs from the black sockets except the reverse bulb and side marker bulb.
    • Reverse bulb
    • Side marker bulb
  5. Place the resistor in a safe location in the housing.
  6. Connect the pigtails to the stock sockets. Make sure the wires match: Black to Black.
  7. Connect the resistor to the taillight housing.
  8. Place the taillight into the truck housing and secure it with screws.
  9. Repeat steps 2-9 for the other side.

  • Ratchet
  • Flathead Screwdriver
  • Phillips Screwdriver
  • Panel Remover

Installation Instructions

  • Open the tailgate and locate the two screws and remove them.
  • Remove the taillight by pulling it straight out
  • Remove all sockets from the taillight housing
  • Remove the bulbs from the black sockets except the reverse bulb and side marker bulbAUTOWIKI-WJ20-0719-LED-Tail-Lights-fig-2
  • Place the resistor in a safe location in the housing.
  • Connect the pigtails to the stock sockets. Make sure the wires match: Black to Black.
  • Connect the resistor to the taillight housing.
  • Place the taillight into the truck housing, secure with screws.
