Interface and installation instructions

Interface

  • *RJ45 2:** Divided into PoE IN and PoE OUT, it is a power and data transmission interface. It can be connected to a standard PoE switch or our similar dual-port base station through an Ethernet cable.
  • DC interface: Power supply voltage compatible with PSE power supply.
  • Reset hole: Reset button to restore default settings. Press and hold for 3 seconds. The base station’s green light will flash rapidly for 5 seconds, indicating that the base station has successfully restored the initial settings and restarted.

Installation

*Before installation, please make sure that the fixed position can withstand a weight of 2kg or more.

  • As shown in the image below, use KA4 screws to securely install the disk rack on the flat roof (in the direction indicated by the arrow).
  • Align the installation bracket with the docking position and push the base station into the bracket slot. The direction of the network port indicated on the bracket latch surface should be consistent with the direction of the network port indicated on the back of the base station.
  • Connect the upstream network cable to the base station’s RJ45 interface (PoE IN).
  • If there are subordinate cascaded base stations, connect the RJ45 interface (PoE OUT) of the base station to the RJ45 interface (PoE IN) of the subordinate base station using a network cable. It is recommended not to cascade more than 8 levels of base stations.

Rules for Indicator Light Signals

  • After correctly installing the base station and cascading it with a PoE switch, the base station will automatically start. Once it is started, the operational status of the base station can be determined through indicator light signals.
  • The signal rules for LED indicator lights are as follows:
    Lighting status| Base station status
    ---|---
Green light flashing rapidly, lasting for 5 seconds.| Long press the base station startup/reset button to restart.
Red light flashing rapidly.| Obtaining IP address.
Green light flashing slowly.| The IP address obtained successfully.
The greenlight steady on.| Connected to positioning engine successfully.
The red light steady on, and the base station will automatically reset after 30 seconds.| This level base station is malfunctioning/not connected.
The red and green lights alternate slowly flashing.| The downstream base station in the cascade is malfunctioning.

  • The signal rules for the RJ45 interface indicator lights are translated as follows:
LED Indicator Light Status| Base Station Status
    ---|---
Steady On| Interface Connected to Network
    Blinking| Interface Data Transmission
    Light Off| No Network Connection

Attention Required

  • When selecting PoE power supply for the positioning base station, it is necessary to use designated standard PoE power supply equipment (PSE devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af/802.3at protocols).
  • The operating environment conditions for the base station are -20°C to 60°C temperature range, 0% to 95% humidity range, and it can be installed outdoors. The enclosure has a protection rating of IP66, and it should be kept away from sources of fire and strong electromagnetic interference.
  • Supports upper-layer application development for Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • The theoretical maximum installation elevation angle is 66°, but it is strongly recommended not to exceed 45°.
