SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Be careful not to expose your eyes to the emitting laser beam as exposure to a laser beam for an extended time may be hazardous to your eyes.
- Eye exposure to the beam of this laser is considered safe for a maximum of 1/4 second. Your blink reflex will normally provide adequate protection.
- Do not stare directly into the beam or view directly with optical instruments or set up the laser at eye level.
- Do not disassemble the laser tool. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
- Do not modify the laser in any way.
- Modifying the tool may result in hazardous exposure to laser radiation.
- Do not operate the laser around children or allow children to operate the laser.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not store the laser tool in direct sunlight or expose it to high temperatures.
- The housing and some internal parts are made of plastics and may become deformed at high temperatures.
MAINTENANCE
- The laser tool is sealed and calibrated at the plant to the accuracy specified.
- It’s recommended to carry out an accuracy check before its first use and periodic checks during future use especially for precise layouts.
- Do not short-circuit any battery, charge alkaline batteries or dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace both of them at the same time with new identical batteries.
- Remove batteries if the tool will not be used for several months.
- Exterior plastic parts may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never use solvents. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture from the tool before storage.
Appliances and batteries must not be put in the household garbage, they must be recycled.

OVERVIEW
OPERATION
Keep the switch in locked position when you are not using the laser and before inserting or changing batteries.
AUTO SELF-LEVELING MODE
- Place the switch in unlocked position to turn on in self-leveling mode. The laser light flashes when it is 4° out of level.
MANUAL MODE
- When the switch is in locked position , press and hold the key button for 3 seconds. This mode allows to use the laser manually at any angle.
POWER-SAVING MODE
- When the laser is turned on, short press the key button a 1st time to reduce the brightness to 75%; a 2nd time to reduce to 50%; a 3rd time to reduce to 25%; a 4th time to restore the maximum brightness
PULSE MODE (DETECTOR SOLD SEPARATELY)
- Short press the key button to turn the pulse mode on. Long press again to switch off the pulse mode.
LOW BATTERY ALERT
- When the battery is low, the red indicator flashes. When the battery is very low, the red indicator light stays on and the laser line is turned off.
