Product Usage Instructions
Distance Measurement Mode:
To measure distance, press the button indicated for distance measurement. The measurement will be displayed on the screen.
Pythagorean Measurement:
For Pythagorean measurement in 2 points, press the button 3 times to activate this function. The height will be calculated automatically.
For Pythagorean measurement in 3 points, press the corresponding button to
display the measurements or view the last 20
measurements. The device will not take any measurements until it returns to
measurement mode.
Low Battery Indicator:
If you see the message “B.L,” it indicates a low battery. Please replace the battery to continue using the device.
Signal Strength:
If you see “T.L” or “T.H,” it represents weak or strong signal strength respectively.

PRESS THIS KEY TO TURN THE DEVICE AND LASER ON. PRESS IT AGAIN TO MEASURE.
PRESS AND HOLD TO ENTER THE CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT MODE.
CLEAR /OFF
PRESS THIS BUTTON TO CANCEL THE LAST INSTRUCTION OR CLEAR THE DISPLAY. PRESS
AND HOLD THIS BUTTON TO TURN THE DEVICE OFF. NOTE THAT IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY
POWER OFF AFTER 45 SECONDS OF INACTIVITY.
ADD/SUBTRACT
ADD : WHEN IN DISTANCE MEASUREMENT MODE, AREA OR VOLUME, PRESS THIS BUTTON
ONCE AND THE + SIGN WILL APPEAR. THE NEXT MEASURED VALUE WILL BE ADDED TO THE
PREVIOUS ONE.
SUBTRACT : WHEN IN DISTANCE MEASUREMENT MODE, AREA OR VOLUME, PRESS THIS
BUTTON AGAIN AND THE ? SIGN WILL APPEAR. THE NEXT MEASURED VALUE WILL BE
SUBTRACTED FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE.
SOUND/UNIT
HOLD THE BUTTON FOR 1 SECOND TO TURN THE SOUND ON OR OFF. PRESS THE KEY TO
CHANGE THE DISTANCE UNITS UNTIL IT DISPLAYS THE DESIRED UNIT: M, FT, IN.
REFERENCE POINT
PRESS THIS KEY TO SET THE BENCHMARK FROM EITHER THE FRONT OR REAR. AFTER
RESTARTING, THE REFERENCE POINT WILL RETURN TO THE BACK OF DEVICE ?DEFAULT
VALUE?.

DISTANCE
PRESS THIS KEY TO TURN THE DEVICE ON. PRESS IT AGAIN TO BEGIN MEASUREMENT. THE
MEASURING DATA WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN.
CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT (MAX/MIN)
HOLD THIS KEY TO ENTER THE CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT MODE, A SIGNAL TONE WILL
SOUND: MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM VALUES WILL BE DISPLAYED. CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT IS
TO MEASURE THE MAX?MIN DISTANCE FROM ONE MEASURING POINT. FOR EXAMPLE,
MEASURING THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE MAXIMUM VALUE OF THE ROOM OR THE HORIZONTAL
DISTANCE (MINIMUM VALUE).
PRESS ON TO STOP CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT. THE CORRESPONDING MAXMIN VALUES AND
THE LAST MEASURED DATA WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN.
AREA
PRESS ONCE AND THIS ICON WILL SHOW ON THE SCREEN.
PRESS THIS BUTTON TO MEASURE THE FIRST DISTANCE (LENGTH).
PRESS THIS BUTTON AGAIN TO MEASURE THE SECOND DISTANCE (WIDTH). THE AREA WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE 3RD LINE. EACH SINGLE MEASURE WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE 1ST AND 2ND LINES.
VOLUME
PRESS TWICE AND THIS ICON WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN.
- PRESS THIS BUTTON TO MEASURE THE FIRST DISTANCE (LENGTH).
- PRESS THIS BUTTON AGAIN TO MEASURE THE SECOND DISTANCE (WIDTH).
- PRESS AGAIN TO MEASURE THE THIRD DISTANCE ?HEIGHT?. THE VOLUME WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE 4TH LINE. EACH SINGLE MEASURE WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD LINES.
PYTHAGOREAN MEASURING
THIS FUNCTION IS TO CALCULATE THE TARGET DISTANCE THAT CANNOT BE DIRECTLY
MEASURED.
PYTHAGOREAN METHOD USING 2 POINTS
PRESS 3 TIMES TO ACTIVATE THE FUNCTION, THE SYMBOL APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY. TAKE MEASUREMENT WITH THE 2 POINTS SHOWN ON BELOW FIGURE IN THE ORDER INDICATED. THE HEIGHT WILL BE CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY AND DISPLAYED ON SCREEN.
PYTHAGOREAN METHOD USING 3 POINTS
PRESS 4 TIMES TO ACTIVATE THE FUNCTION, THE SYMBOL APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY.
TAKE MEASUREMENTS WITH THE 3 POINTS SHOWN ON BELOW FIGURE IN THE ORDER
INDICATED. THE HEIGHT IS CALCULATED AND DISPLAYED ON THE BOTTOM LINE. PRESS TO
DELETE A MEASUREMENT AND THEN PRESS TO RE-MEASURE.
PYTHAGOREAN METHOD FOR PARTIAL HEIGHT
PRESS 5 TIMES TO ACTIVATE THE FUNCTION, THE SYMBOL APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY. MEASURE THE THREE HEIGHTS OF A, B, AND C IN TURN, AND THE INSTRUMENT WILL AUTO MATICALLY CALCULATE THE HEIGHT OF X. THE MEASUREMENT RESULTS ARE DISPLAYED ON THE FIRST LINE FOR A, THE SECOND LINE FOR B, THE THIRD LINE FOR C, AND THE FOURTH LINE FOR X.
MEMORY DATA
PRESS THIS KEY TO SHOW THE LAST MEASURE? MENT. PRESS TO VIEW THE LATEST 20 GROUPS OF DATA IN TURN. IN THIS MODE, THE INSTRUMENT CANNOT MEASURE. AFTER CONSULTING THE DATA, PRESS ONCE, AND THE INSTRUMENT ENTERS THE MEASURE? MENT MODE.
