Checklist
Installation| |
---|---|---
If the pump is delivered with a pressure tank, connect it to the pump
according to the enclosed instructions.
Ensure that the pressure in the pressure tank is 3.5 bar.
** If the pump is already connected to a water supply, open all tapping
points to ensure that the system is depressurized.| | **
Connect the pump according to the operating instructions.
Ensure that all screw connections are air-tight.|
|
Fill the pump with water using the filling nozzle until it overflows.
Ensure the correct seating of the prefilter (see section “Maintenance
and Care”).| |
Tighten the lid by hand until it is air-tight.| |
**Check all connections for leaks.| | **
Vent pump:
1 Open and close all tapping points in the water system once to ensure that
there is no more air in the pipes.
2 Completely open the existing stop valves, and/or ensure that there is
sufficient water in the suction container.
3 Switch the pump on in continuous operation (switch setting “I/On”).
4 Allow the pump to run for several minutes until it pumps uniformly and there
is no more air in the system. The pump is now ready for operation.| |
If there are faults on the suction side (LED for faults on the suction side lights up):
Remove the check valve from the suction hose.
A check valve integrated into the pump offers sufficient protection.
Carefully go through the installation steps again.
| |
If there are faults on the pressure side (fault on the pressure side lights
up):
Carefully go through the installation steps again.| |
Maintenance and care| |
---|---|---
Unscrew the lid from the filling nozzle.
Remove the entire prefilter.
** Separate the check valve from the prefilter.| | **
Carefully clean the prefilter and the check valve under flowing water.
If necessary, rinse the residual dirt from the pump.| |
Check the check valve for ease of movement.
If sluggish, lightly grease the check valve seals using grease
(6.288-143.0) available from Kärcher Service.
Do not use mineral lubricants or oils.| |
Connect the prefilter and check the filter to each other again.| ****|
** Reinstall the prefilter in the pump.
Note the correct installation position!
Position the nose of the prefilter at the matching recess on the filling
nozzle. The pre-filter can be inserted without excessive force.| **|
