Common Troubleshooting

The controller was connected to the power, but not light up

  1. Check the input power supply: please use the power adapter that we equipped or other adapters with the same specification as ours. The input voltage must meet the voltage requirement of the strip lights. When the input voltage is lower than a requirement, the strip lights will not be turned on, while higher voltage may damage the circuit. The output power of the adapter(KW value) must be equal to, or higher than the power of the LED strip lights.
  2. Check whether the connector is connected correctly with the lights of the strip. Make sure each interface is connected correctly.
  3. Check whether the remote control is open.

If the LED strip light is able to light up, but the remote control does not work or can’t control LED light.

  1. Check whether the insulation sheet is removed from the remote control.
  2. Make sure the battery on the remote control is installed correctly.
  3. Ensure that the remote is working within 5 meters and aligned to the infrared receiver of the controller.
  4. Try to replace the battery.

Attentions:

  1. Please ensure that the adhesive surface is smooth, and make sure the surface is clean, flat, and dry before sticking the light strips.
  2. The arrows should be connected on the same line. If the connection is not “arrow to arrow”, the lights won’t work.
  3. When using the remote control, please point the receiver on the controller, and the remote control distance is 5m.
  4. Before using the remote control, please pull out the transparent insulation sheet inside the remote control.
  5. The lights strip can be Gutted every 3 LEDs along with the marks, but please make sure the power is off first. And if you cut them, you will need one more power adapter to light the rest strip up.
  6. Led strip is not waterproof. For safety, please hide the controller and power supply away from the water during use.
  7. Light strip must be used under 24V.
