Risk of crushing

  • Do not put your fingers or limbs in the clamping device.

Blinding

  • Never look directly into the light source.

  • Never look at bright sources of light, such as LED lamps or lasers, through the lens. The eyes can be damaged!

  • Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and mechanical pressure.

  • Only use in dry ambience.

  • Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for example by dropping or stumbling.

  • Only use the table stand on a stable, non-slip and horizontal surface.

  • Only secure the clamp to stable tabletops with a thickness of 10–60 mm.

  • Use only the supplied power supply.

  • Keep enough space around the product to ensure good ventilation and mobility.
    Voltage-free only with pulled plug.

  • In case of emergency, after use and during a thunderstorm, pull the mains plug out of the socket directly at the plug housing.

  • Switch the light off after doing any work on the product and unplug the power cord.

Fire hazard
Intense sunlight is concentrated by the lens and can magnify it to the point that it creates a fire hazard.

  • Always keep the lens out of direct sunlight when it is not in use.
  • Do not attach any objects to the product.
  • Do not install the product near flammable liquids or gases! There is a risk of fire and explosion.

Cutting hazard
Broken glass is extremely sharp.

  • Exercise caution when removing the lens.
  • Dispose broken glass with suitable protective measures.

Description and function

Product

The product is an energy-efficient and versatile LED magnifying lamp with replaceable glass lens, flexible gooseneck, table stand and/or mounting clamp.

  • 100 mm magnifier diameter and 30 SMD LEDs provide perfect illumination
  •  glass lens with 3 dioptres and 1.75x magnification

Intended use

We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property. IP20: This product is protected against medium sized foreign objects, but not against water ingress.

Preparation

  1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
  2. Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals. These must be identical.
  3. Check underlays and panels for stability.

Assembly and disassembly

CAUTION! Risk of injury due to unsuitable environmental conditions

  • Do not mount the product in places with direct sunlight or strong light. This will cause eye fatigue.
    NOTICE! Risk of breakage

  • Assemble and disassemble the product carefully.

Table stand (60359)
  1. Insert the locking device (6) into the table stand (7).

  2. Turn the table stand (7) until it locks into place.

  3. When dismantling, make sure that the two raised marks are on top of each other.
    Otherwise there is a risk that the lock will break off.

Mounting clamp (60359, 60365)
  1.  Insert the locking device (6) into the mounting clamp (8).

  2. Turn the mounting clamp (8) until it clicks into place.

  3.  When dismantling, make sure that the two raised marks are on top of each other.
    Otherwise there is a risk that the lock will break off.

Connection

Risk of injury from tripping and falling

  • Lay cables in a safe manner.
    1. Connect the power supply unit to an easily accessible socket.
    2. Connect the DC connector (5) to the magnifying lamp.

 Operation

  1. Before each use, check that the lamp is securely in place.
  2. Hold the table stand or the fastening clamp securely with one hand and align the lamp with the other hand.
  3.  Switch the lamp on or off using the ON/OFF switch (1).

Replacing the illuminants

The lamps are permanently installed and cannot be replaced.

 Removing and replacing the magnifying lens

  1. The magnifying lens is replaceable and can be removed if broken or for transport.
    Adjust the lamp horizontally.

  2. Turn the fixing ring (2) counterclockwise with both hands to loosen the lens.

  3. Remove the old magnifying lens (3).

  4. Insert a new magnifying lens (3).

  5. Turn the fixing ring (2) clockwise with both hands to fix the lens.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE! Material damage

  • Switch the product off and unplug it from the mains before each cleaning.
  • Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Be careful when cleaning to avoid scratches.
  • Do not use detergents or chemicals.
  • Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
  • Store cool and dry.
  • Keep and use the original packaging for transport. When using the fixing clamp, pressure marks may remain visible when the product is may remain visible when the product is disassembled.

Disposal instructions

According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each other.
