Product Introduction

The lighting fixture controlled by the Wi-Fi in-Wall smart socket must not exceed 3000 watts. The smart socket is designed only for single-pole use and a Neutral Wire is required.

Indicator Description:

Blue light : the state of the smart socket is on
No light : the smart socket is off
Blue light:

1. Wi-Fi distribution network indicator
2. Remote control matching indicator light

Method of Restoring Factory State:

Press and hold the smart socket button for 5 seconds until the smart socket indicator is blinking.

Smart Socket Installation:

Tools you need:

Screwdriver
Pliers
Electrical Tester

Connect the Smart Socket wires:

Ground Neutral [Required]

Install APP:

Download the Smart Life App:

Download the smart socket from Apple Store or Google Play store or scan the QR code to install the smart Life app for either iOS or Android.

Register an account in the Smartlife App:

Open the smart life App into the account registration page. Click on the Register. At the registration page, select your region and enter the email to create a new account. After successful registration, you can add device on your App now.

Add Devices:

Add New WiFi Device:

Connect your phone to the local WiFi
Press the switch button for 5 seconds till the light flashes to reset
Tap on + in the homepage of your smart Life App and select smart Socket
Enter WiFi Password and confirm
Wait until the configuration is complete

Add New Zigbee Device:

Ensure that the device is in fast flashing state
Open the Tuya ZigBee Smart Gateway
In the Zigbee smart gateway click to add sub-device
Discover the device and add it, the addition is successful

FAQ

Q: What should I do if the smart socket cannot be paired in EZ mode?
- A: If the socket cannot be paired in EZ mode (blink rapidly), please change to AP mode (blink slowly). After entering the Add Device page, confirm whether the Smart Socket is in EZ mode.

Download smart socket from Apple Store or Google Play store or scan the QR code below to in install the Smart Life App for either IOS or Android.

Register an account in the Smart life App

open smart life APP into the account registration page. Click on the “Register”
At the registration page, select your region and enter the email to create a new account,(Phone number is not available)
After successful registration,you can add device on your App now

Add devices

step1.After login to smart Life app. click on”+”to add devices. select “Electrical” →‘ Socket’ category, tap “Socket Wi-Fi ” product icon

Add New WiFi Device

Connect your phone to the local WiFi
Press the switch button for 5 seconds till the light flashes to reset
Tap on “+” in the homepage of your “smart Life” App and select “smart Socket”
Enter WiFi Password and confirm
Wait until the configuration is complete

Add New Zigbee Device

Ensure that the device is in fast flashing state
Open the Tuya ZigBee Smart Gateway
In the Zigbee smart gateways lick to add a sub-device
Discover the device and add it, the addition is successful

Step2. Select the Device Work Wi-Fi and enter the password, then start the configuration of the device Follow the in-App instructions to connect the smart socket to your Wi-Fi network.

Please make sure the Wi-Fi is strong & 2.4 GHZ wireless band.
Keep your mobile device close to the smart socket until setup is completed.

Step3.Active the smart socket to Wi-Fi connection mode smart life App supports two types of configuration modes: EZ mode and Ap mode.
EZ mode: Turn off the luminaire first. The socket indicator Will be blue, Press and hold the socket button for 5 seconds and release. The indicator light will blink rapidly. {About twice per second}.
AP mode : Under EZ mode. continue to press and hold the socket button for 10 seconds and release,the socket indicator will blink slowly.[About once 2 seconds].

lf the socket can not be paired in EZ mode [blink rapidly].
please change to AP mode [blink slowly].After entering the “Add Device” page confirm whether the Smart Socket is EZ mode.
step 4.”Device added Successfully “will be displayed after a successful operation.

Rename the device

After the device be added successfully,click the device description text to modify device name.The name of the device is recommended to use easy pronunciation of the English words
