Quick guide

Before using the appliance carefully read the Safety Instruction.
FIRST TIME USE
After installation, wait at least two hours before connecting the appliance to
the power supply. Once connected, it will start working automatically. The
ideal temperature settings are preset from the factory.
After turning the appliance on, wait 4-6 hours for it to reach the correct
food storage temperature.

ON/STANDBY
To put the product in Standby, press and hold the On/Standby button for 3
seconds. All the indicators turn off except On/Standby indicator.
In Standby mode the light in the refrigerator compartment does not turn on.
Press again to reactivate the appliance.
FRIDGE TEMPERATURE
To adjust the fridge temperature, press the Fridge °C button. The fridge
temperature can be adjusted between +2°C and + 8°C, as shown by the
fridge/freezer temperature display. Recommended setting for the refrigerator
compartment is +4°C
FREEZER TEMPERATURE
To adjust the freezer temperature, press the Freezer °C button.
The freezer temperature can be adjusted between -16°C and -24°C, as shown by
the the fridge/freezer temperature display.
Recommended setting for the freezer compartment is -18°C.
FAST COOL
Using Fast Cool function it is possible to increase the cooling capacity in
the refrigerator compartment. The use of this function is recommended when
placing a very high quantity of food in the refrigerator compartment.
Press the fridge temperature button/ Fast Cool button for 3 sec to activate
Fast Cool function. When activated, the Fast Cool indicator turns on. The
function is automatically disabled after 6 hours, or can be manually disabled
by pressing the fridge temperature button button/ Fast Cool button again for 3
sec.
FAST FREEZE
The use of this function is recommended when placing a very high quantity of
food to be frozen in the freezer compartment. 24 hours before freezing fresh
food, press the freezer temperature button /Fast Freeze button for 3 sec to
activate the Fast Freeze function. When activated, the Fast Freeze indicator
turns on. After 24 hours place the food to be frozen in the bottom freezing
zone of freezer compartment. The function is automatically disabled after 48
hours, or can be manually disabled by pressing the freezer temperature button
/ Fast Freeze button again for 3 sec.
PARTY MODE
Press the Party Mode button to activate the Party Mode function. The Party
Mode icon turns on.
- Available only on certain models Use this function to chill drinks inside the freezer compartment.
Important: do not leave the bottle inside the freezer compartment longer than the function is active (30 minutes).
The function can be manually disabled by pressing the Party Mode button, before the acoustical alarm turns on.
After 30 min since it has been engaged, the acoustical alarm is activated, the party mode icon and the alarm indicator blink Press the Stop Alarm button to exit party mode.
VACATI ON
You can use this function in the event of a prolonged absence from home. Press the Vacation button for 3 sec to engage Vacation Mode.
The display will show the temperature of the refrigerator compartment (+12°C) and the Vacation mode icon will light up. After activating this function, remove the food from the refrigerator compartment and keep both doors closed – the refrigerator will maintain a suitable temperature to prevent odours from forming. The freezer, however, remains at the temperature originally set. A deep clean (of both refrigeration and freezer compartment) is recommended before activating this function in order to prevent the spread of bacteria.
Press again the same button for 3 sec to deactivate Vacation.
Changing the setpoint will automatically deactivate the function.
SMART DISPLAY
This function is active by default and turns off the LEDs on the user interface 15 sec after the last interaction with the user interface and/or with the door.
When activated, other buttons and the displays are switched off except the smart display icon The function can be manually deactivated by pressing the Stop Alarm button for 5 sec.
To reactivate this function repeat the same procedure. Remember that this function does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply, but only reduce the power consumed by external display Every time you want to use the control panel and see all the functions, you just need to touch any button to wake up the panel.
PRECISION CONTROL FUNCTION
This is an advanced technology that reduces temperature fluctuations in the whole freezer compartment. Freezer burns are reduced and food preserves its original quality and color. This function is automatically engaged when the freezer temperature set-point is between -22°C and -24°C. This is signaled by Precision control indicator.
If the function is engaged and the user modifies the freezer temperature out of the working range, the function is automatically switched off.
6TH SENSE
This function automatically works to ensure the optimal conditions to preserve
the stored food. The “6th Sense” function is automatically activated when:
- a large amount of food is loaded into the refrigerator
- the refrigerator door is left open for a long time
- a prolonged power failure takes place, causing the internal temperature of the appliance to increase to values that cannot guarantee safe storage of food.

REFRIGERATION COMPARTMENT
Fan
The Fan improves temperature distribution inside the refrigerator compartment,
allowing better preservation of stored food.
The fan will start/stop working depending on the temperature and/or humidity
level inside the fridge.
Fresh Box 0°C drawer
The Fresh Box 0°C it is a drawer (b) ideal to store meat and fish. By
decreasing/increasing the fridge temperature, you impact the Fresh Box 0°C
compartment temperature as well.
FREEZER COMPARTMENT
The freezer compartment allows for the storage of frozen food and the freezing
of fresh food. The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen in a specific
time period is indicated on the rating plate. Arrange the fresh food in the
freezing area inside the freezer compartment, leaving enough space around it
to allow air to circulate freely. Avoid allowing fresh food to come into
direct contact with frozen food. Load limits are determined by baskets, flaps,
drawers, shelves etc.. Make sure that these components can still close easily
after loading. The freezing zone’s drawer/compartment is shown in the picture
above. To optimize freezing speed and get more storage space, the freezer
compartment can be used without the freezer drawers and the food can be placed
directly on the bottom of the compartment. To avoid food waste, Keep in mind
that this compartment is a mechanical feature operating all the time and it
cannot be switched off.

Ice cubes
Fill 2/3 of the ice tray with water and place it back in the freezer
compartment. Do not use sharp or pointed objects to remove the ice.
ACCESSORIES*
HUMIDITY CONTROL
Open the humidity regulator (position B) if you want to store food such as
fruit in a less humid environment. Clouse it (position A) to store food like
vegetable in more humid environment.
TUCK SHELF
The rail system allows this shelf to slide away, creating extra space for tall
bottles or jugs.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The drawers, baskets, and shelves should be kept in their current position
unless otherwise specified in this quick guide.
The light system inside the refrigerator compartment uses LED lights, which
provide better lighting and use less energy than traditional bulbs.
Doors and lids of the refrigerator should be removed before disposal, to avoid
children or animals getting trapped inside.
TROUBLESHOOTING
What to do if… | Possible reasons | Solutions |

There is water in the defrost pan.| This is normal in hot, damp weather. The
pan can even be half full.| • Make sure the appliance is level so that the
water does not overflow.
The edges of the appliance cabinet, which come in contact with the door seal,
are warm to the touch.| This is not a defect. This is normal in hot weather
and when the compressor is running.|
The light does not work.| The light may need replacing. The appliance may be
in On/ Stand-by model.| • Make sure if the protection devices and fuses of the
electrical system in your home work well.
• Check if the power cable is plugged into a live socket with the proper
voltage
• In case the LEDs are broken the user must call the Service for exchange of
the same type available only at our Aftersales Service Centers or authorized
dealers.
The motor seems to run too much.| Motor running time depends on different
things: number of door openings, amount of food stored, temperature of the
room, setting of the temperature controls.| • Make sure that the appliance
controls are correctly set.
• Check if there is not a large amount of food been added to the appliance.
• Check that the door is not opened too often.
• Check that the door close properly.
The appliance temperature is too high.| There could be various causes (see
“Solutions”).| • Make sure that the condenser (back the appliance) is free of
dust and fluff.
• Make sure that the door properly closed.
• Make sure that the door seals properly fitted.
• On hot days or if the room is warm, the motor naturally runs longer.
• If the appliance door has been left open for a while or if large amounts of
food have been stored, the motor will run longer in order to cool down the
interior of the appliance.
The doors do not open and close properly.| There could be various causes (see
“Solutions”).| • Check that food packages are not blocking the door.
• Check that the internal parts or automatic ice maker are not out of
position.
• Check that the door seals are not dirty or sticky.
• Ensure the appliance is level.

restored.
Black-out alarm| The Black-out Alarm icon blinks, the alarm indicator blinks,
the freezer display shows the maximum temperature reached blinking.| Prolonged
power failure, able to cause the inside temperature to increase.| Press the
Stop Alarm button; the acoustical alarm stops, the Blackout Alarm is canceled.
Party Mode alarm| The Party Mode and alarm indicators blink, the acoustical
alarm is activated.| 30 min. elapsed since Party Mode function has been
activated. It is time to take out the bottle from the freezer (see Use and
Care Guide for more details).| Press the Stop Alarm button to cancel the
alarm.
