DRILL MOUNTING GUIDE | 24″ VERSION

Note: Adhesive mounting instructions are on the back side of this paper.

Parts needed for drill mounting installation:

1x One stainless steel magnetic knife bar + one carton stencil for holes
1x Two screws (4.7 X 34 mm) + two screw anchors (7.6 X 32 mm)
1x Spare set of two screws and two anchors

STEP 1: MARKING DOTS BEFORE DRILLING

Use stencil to mark two small dots for intended placement.
– The distance between the center of the two dots should be 19.88″ (50.5 CM).
– Install the bar horizontally, use of a level is recommended.

STEP 2: DRILL TWO HOLES ON THE MARKED DOTS THE SAME SIZE AS THE ANCHORS

Important Tip: Drill only one hole first. Then, using the stencil, check that the second hole is where it should be
(1) Install the screw anchors into the holes. To prevent the bar from wiggling, make sure the anchors are flush with the wall.
(2) Install the screws into the anchors, leaving only the head exposed.

STEP 3: PLACE THE MAGNETIC STRIP OVER THE SCREWS

(1) Place the magnetic strip over the screws.
(2) Once on, slowly and carefully, press the magnetic bar down so the screw heads lock into the narrow part of the holes.
(3) Once finished, if the magnetic bar is loose or wobbly, please make sure the screw anchors are all the way in and that the screw heads are the only parts visible. You can try screwing the screws a little deeper and attaching the bar again and vice versa, until the bar is securely placed.

PROPER USE & WARNINGS

– The bar should be installed horizontally. Knife blades should point up.
– Recommended placement – above a hard surface (i.e. kitchen counter).
– Keep away from children.
– Pacemakers may be affected by the magnet. Keep a distance of at least 6 inches from the magnetic bar.

ADHESIVE MOUNTING GUIDE

ADHESIVE MOUNTING | 24″ VERSION

Parts needed for adhesive back mounting installation:

1x One stainless steel magnetic knife bar
5 x Small units of double-sided 3M adhesive tape

STEP 1: PREPARE INTENDED SURFACE

(1) IMPORTANT: Your les must be perfectly aligned. If some les protrude by even 1/8 of an inch, the bar might fall.
(2) Thoroughly wipe and clean the intended surface, ensuring that all dust, fat, oil, or any other debris is removed. Allow it to dry completely and verify that the surface is perfectly clean. This step is crucial for ensuring a stronger grip.

STEP 2: APPLY ADHESIVE TAPE TO THE BACKSIDE (THE SIDE WITH HOLES)

(1) BEFORE: Before peeling any layers of the 3M double-sided adhesive tape, position them on the backside of the knife bar. Arrange them side by side, aligned and centered. Ensure that the red side of the 3M tape is facing upwards. Maintain small, equal gaps between the tape units (about 1-2 mm).

(2) APPLY ADHESIVE TAPE: Begin with the first 3M tape unit and peel off only its boom layer. Apply it to the bar’s surface (ensure you apply it to the back side of the bar – the side with holes). Proceed to the next 3M tape unit, applying each one carefully, one aer the other. Ensure they are aligned and maintain equal, minimal gaps between them (about 1-2mm).
(3) AFTER: Aer you finish, apply pressure to all the tape units for 60 seconds to ensure a stronger adhesive bond.

STEP 3: APPLY THE BAR ON THE WALL AND WAIT 48 HOURS

(1) BEFORE: Before peeling the other side of the adhesive tape to mount the bar on the intended surface, we strongly recommend placing the bar against the wall, using a level on top to ensure it’s straight, and then marking a few guide points for accurate mounting.
(2) APPLY THE BAR: Once your guide marks are set, peel off the remaining layers of the adhesive tape and carefully position the bar. Avoid removing and reapplying the bar, as this can weaken the adhesive’s strength.
(3) AFTER: Once the bar is in place, apply pressure along the enre length of the bar for 60 seconds. Then, release and wait 48 hours to allow it to completely dry.
