Safety instructions

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating and use it in dry environments only.
• Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products arenot permitted.
• Do not use the product in adamp environment and avoid splashing water.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
• Never apply force when using the product or during installation.
• The battery is permanently installed and cannot be removed; dispose of the product as awhole in accordance with the statutory regulations.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
• Do not incinerate the battery or the product.
• Do not tamper with or damage/heat/disassemble the batteries/rechargeable batteries.

System requirements

The keyboardsupports Bluetooth® -enableddevices with the iOS,iPadOS,MacOS,Android and Windows operating systems.
The following requirements must be met to enable its use:

• iPaddevices requireiPadOS 14 or higher
• iPhone devices requireiOS 14 or higher
• Android devices requireAndroid 8.0 or higher
• Windows devices requireWindows 10 or higher
• MacOS 11 or higher

Check whetherthe latest version is installedand carry out asoftwareupdate if necessary.

Note

• For proper functioningofthe multi-device keyboard, make surethat the correct keyboard layout (QWERTZ, QWERTY,etc.) is activated in the settings of your device.
• Please be awarethat your device must support some functions if they aretobeused.
• If some of the keys of the multi-device keyboard do not function properly on your device due to software, you can execute them via the virtual keyboard.
• Please refer to the operating instructions of your device for more information.

Setup

Warning -rechargeable battery

• Only use suitable chargingdevices or USB ports to charge the product.
• Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
• Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
• Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).
• When stored over alongperiod of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months).
• Only charge batteries within atemperaturerange of 10°C-40°C.

Note

• The enclosed USB cable is only used for charging this product. It is not suitable for charging other devices or for transferring data.
• Fully charge the battery once beforeusingthe multidevice keyboardfor the first time.
• Start the charging process of the multi-device keyboard by connecting the enclosed USB-C charging cable to the USB-C socket of the keyboard(9) and to the USB port of a PC/note book.
• Alternatively,you can charge the multi-device keyboardusing asuitable USBcharger.Todothis, consult the operating instructions for the USB charger you areusing.
• The charging status LED (4) lights up redwhen charging is active. Once the battery is fully charged, the charging status LED (4) goes out again.
• If the battery capacity is low,the charging status LED (4) starts to flash redduring operation. Thencharge the battery of the multi-device keyboardasdescribed above.

Note -Stand function

• For optimum handling, only use your device in landscape format in the integrated stand function.
• To dothis, fold down the flap of the cover and secure it using the magnet (C).

Operation

Note

• The functions described in this section areonly possible with Bluetooth® -enabled devices.
• Note thatthe maximum range for Bluetooth® is 10 metres without obstacles such as walls, people, etc.

7.1 Bluetooth® initial connection (pairing)
Note -pairing

• Make surethat your Bluetooth® -enabled device is switchedonand that Bluetooth® is activated.
• Make surethat your Bluetooth® -enabled device is visible to other Bluetooth ® devices.
• Please refertothe operating instructions of your device for more information.
• Slide the OFF/ON switch (8) to the ON position to switch on the multi-device keyboard.
• Press and hold Fn and the Bluetooth® connection 1 button (5) until the Bluetooth® connection 1status LED (1) starts to flash blue continuously.
• Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device and wait until the list of found Bluetooth® devices shows Hama Travel 600.
• Select Hama Travel 600,follow the instructions of your device if necessaryand wait until the keyboard is displayed as connected in your device’sBluetooth® settings. The Bluetooth® connection status LED (1) goes out.
• You can now use the multi-device keyboard.
• To connect asecond end device, press and hold Fn and the Bluetooth® connection 2button (6) until the Bluetooth® connection 2status LED(2) starts to flash blue continuously.
• Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device and wait until the list of found Bluetooth® devices shows Hama Travel 600.
• Select Hama Travel 600,follow the instructions of your device if necessaryand wait until the keyboard is displayed as connected in your device’s Bluetooth® settings. The Bluetooth® connection status LED (2) goes out.
• You can now use the multi-device keyboard.
• To connect athirdend device, press and hold Fn and the Bluetooth® connection 3button (7) until the Bluetooth® connection 3status LED(3) starts to flash blue continuously.
• Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device and wait until the list of found Bluetooth® devices shows Hama Travel 600.
• Select Hama Travel 600,follow the instructions of your device if necessaryand wait until the keyboard is displayed as connected in your device’s Bluetooth® settings. The Bluetooth® connection status LED (2) goes out.
• You can now use the multi-device keyboard.
• To select the desired device /connection,press Fn for connection 1and the Bluetooth® connection 1 button(5), Fn for connection 2and the Bluetooth® connection 2button (6), Fn for connection 3and the Bluetooth® connection 3button (7).

7.2 Automatic Bluetooth ® connection (once pairing has been performed)
Note

• Make surethat your Bluetooth® -enableddevice is switchedonand that Bluetooth® is activated.
• Make surethat your Bluetooth® -enableddevice is visible to other Bluetooth® devices.
• Please refertothe operating instructions of your device for moreinformation.
• Slide the OFF/ON switch (2) to the ON position to switch on the multi-device keyboard.
• To select the desired device /connection, press Fn for connection 1and the Bluetooth® connection 1 button (5), Fn for connection 2and the Bluetooth® connection 2button (6), Fn for connection 3and the Bluetooth® connection 3 button (7).
• You can now use the multi-device keyboard.

Note -connection impaired
After asuccessful initial pairing, the connection is established automatically.If the Bluetooth® connection is not established automatically,check the following:

• Inyour device’s Bluetooth® settings, check that Hama Travel 600 is connected. If not, repeat the steps described in 6.1. Bluetooth® initial connection.
• Check whether obstaclesare impairing the range. If so, move the devices closer together.

7.3 Operating system change
The Hama Travel 600 keyboardsupports three different operating systems. Youcan select the desired operating systemwith the following keycombinations:

• fn+Qfor Android
• fn+Wfor Windows
• fn+Efor Apple iOS,iPadOS,MacOS

7.4 Multimedia keys
The multimedia keys allow direct quick access to various applications and functions. The functions high lightedin blue on thekeyboardare activated by pressing the key combination Fn and the respective key.

Note
Possibly limited usability with the Android, iOS, iPadOS and MacOS operating systems.

7.5 Standby and switch off

• The keyboardautomatically switches to standby mode if it is not used for morethan 10 minutes.
• Press any key to reactivate the keyboard.
• Move the OFF/ON switch (2) to the OFF position to switch the multi-device keyboard off.

Care and maintenance

• Only clean this product using alint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners. Ensurethat no water is able to enter the product.
