Set Up Your Camera
- Download Tapo App: Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play or scan the provided QR code.

A: If the alert light blinks continuously, check the Tapo app for any
recent activity detected by the camera.
If there are no notifications, try resetting the camera by pressing and
holding the RESET button for at least 5 seconds until the LED blinks red.
Q: Can I use a microSD card from any brand in the camera?
A: It is recommended to use a high-quality microSD card from a reliable
brand to ensure smooth recording and playback performance on the camera. Using
a low-quality or incompatible card may result in recording issues.

Appearance
The Home Security Wi-Fi Camera has a system LED that changes color according to its status, an alert light, lens, microphone, DC power port, RESET button and a microSD card slot. Refer below for details.
Set Up Your Camera
Step 1. Download Tapo App
Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code
below.
Step 2. Log In
Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID.
If you don’t have an account, create one first.
Step 3. Add Your Camera
Tap the button > Add Device in the app and search for your model. Follow the
app instructions to complete setup.
Mount Your Camera
When you finish adding your camera in the Tapo app, you can set it on a table
or shelf. You can also mount it using the provided anchors and screws.
Follow the steps below to mount your new camera.

Mark Position
Place the mounting template where you want the camera.
For wall mounting, drill two holes through two circles. -
Affix Screws
Affix two mounting screws with the help of mounting template.
For wall mounting, insert two anchors into holes and screw the screws into the anchors. -
Secure Camera
Hang your camera on the screws.
