Product Usage Instructions
Sharpening and Honing Instructions:
- Align the cutting edge being sharpened and the sharpening tool at an angle of approximately 20 degrees.
- Maintain the angle and repeatedly slide the tungsten carbide along the cutting edge from the heel of the blade toward the tip. Continue until desired sharpness is achieved.
- Switch to the ceramic blade for honing the cutting edge, following the same process as sharpening.
Note: Most pruning shears, loppers, and mowers have blades that are only beveled on one side. Only sharpen the beveled side of each blade. For double- beveled edges, repeat the process for the underside of the blade. Give each side of the bladethe same number of strokes for an even cutting edge.
Tungsten Carbide: Use for dull or damaged edges that require a new edge setting.
Ceramic Blade: Suitable for honing a blade.

How long is the warranty period?
The warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase for normal wear and tear, excluding damage caused by misuse or alteration. -
Can I sharpen both sides of a blade?
For blades with a single beveled edge, only sharpen the beveled side. For double-beveled edges, repeat the process on both sides to maintain even sharpness.
Sharpening and Honing Instruction
- Align the cutting edge being sharpened and the sharpening tool at an angle of approximately 20 degrees (see Fig.1).
- Maintain the angle and repeatedly slide the tungsten carbide along the cutting edge from the heel of the blade toward the tip (see Fig.2). Continue this motion until the desired sharpness is achieved.
- Switch to the ceramic blade for honing the cutting edge, following the same process as sharpening.
Note:
- Most pruning shears, loppers and mower have blades that are only beveled on one side of the blade. Only sharpen the side of each blade that has a bevel. If you are sharpening a double-beveled edge, such as most knife edges, repeat the above process for the underside of the knife blade. Give each side of the blade the same number of strokes to maintain an even cutting edge.
