Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the
appliance.
Read the instruction manual and the separately enclosed safety instructions
very carefully before using this appliance. Keep these documents, including
the warranty certificate, receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner
packaging in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party,
always include all the relevant documents.
Symbols in this Instruction Manual
Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to
comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage
to the appliance:
WARNING This warns you of dangers to your health and indicates possible
injury risks.
CAUTION: This refers to possible hazards to the appliance or other
objects.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the appliance for possible transport damage to avoid hazards. Do not operate a damaged appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.
Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
WARNING:
- The appliance’s cable and control unit may create a risk of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or stepping if they are not correctly positioned. The user must ensure that excess sills and electrical cables are arranged in a safe manner.
- Do not operate a damaged appliance. Disconnect it from the mains immediately.
- If the appliance is inoperative because an appliance fuse has tripped or been tripped, send the product to our service department.
CAUTION:
- Use only with detachable controller GL-01.
- Do not cover the tap changer. This may cause mal-function.
Notes for Use
Electrical Connection
- Make sure that the unit voltage (see rating plate) and mains voltage match.
- Connect the power supply with the plug connector.
- Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket.
Usage
Apply the product preferably to the following body regions:
Shoulders, neck, back
Place the heating pad over your shoulders so that the buttons face forward.
Button the heating pad to your desired size. Additionally, tie the ribbon
around the abdomen with a bow.
Operation
Switching On
- Slide the step switch on the control to the desired setting.
- The control lamp lights up and displays the operation.
- For safety reasons, the appliance switches off after 90 minutes. The control lamp flashes. Switch the appli-ance off and on again to start it again.
- Unusual odours may develop during the first few uses. These are harmless and will dissipate in the course of operation.
Step Switch
You can read off the setting from the control lamp. You can select the
following settings:

Switching Off
- Set the step switch to 0 (off).
- Only then disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
- Only clean the appliance when it has cooled down. Danger of burns!
- Do not immerse the heating pad with the step switch in water! It could cause an electric shock or fire.
- Never switch the heating pad on to dry it! Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
CAUTION:
- Do not use harsh cleaners or solvents.
- Also observe the care instructions on the labels!
Heating Pad
- First disconnect the plug connection from the power supply.
- The heating pad can be washed in the gentle cycle at a maximum of 40 °C. Use a mild detergent and dose ac- cording to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Please note that the heating pad must not be dry-cleaned, wrung out, dried in the dryer or ironed.
- Note that the heating pad is stressed by frequent washing. The heating pad should therefore be washed in a washing machine a maximum of 5 times during its lifetime. We therefore recommend that you only hand wash the heating pad.
- Immediately after washing, pull the heating pad into shape to its original size and leave it to dry spread flat over a clothes airer.
- Do not use clothes pegs or similar to attach the heat-ing pad to the clothes airer. Otherwise the heating pad may be damaged.
- Allow the heating pad to dry completely before using it again.
- Do not reconnect the plug with the heating pad until the plug connection and the heating pad are completely dry. Otherwise the heating pad may be damaged.
Step Switch
Only clean the step switch with a dry cloth.
Storage
- Unplug the mains plug from the socket.
- When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.
- Store the appliance in a dry place.
- Avoid bending the appliance sharply by placing objects on it during storage.

Information concerning where the equipment can be disposed of can be obtained
from your local authority. Your dealer and contractual partner is also obliged
to take back the old appliance free of charge.
