Prepare Me AsIAm Parent Learning Platform User Guide

We recommend accessing the Prepare Me AsIAm Parent Learning Platform on desktop.

To Activate your Prepare Me AsIAm Parent Learner Account, follow the steps given:

Desktop Flow:

Before Beginning:
Make sure you are not logged into any previous Alison learning accounts.

Click on the linkhere

This will open the following Activation screen in a new browser.

Please input information , which are mandatory, except for ‘Hire Date.
Please input the information in the manner you would like. Above you will see an example of how Amanda will have filled out the form.
You do not need to have a business email to create an account. Use the email you would like to use.
The Alison hosting providers (the website) utilised to host the Prepare Me AsIAm
Parent Learning Platform stipulates the information they require to create an account on their website.

This will take you to the AsIAm Sign up page where you must enter the credentials in the previous screen to login to your newly activated account:
After clicking log in, you will be taken to the main dashboard of your Parent Learner LMS.
Click on the ‘Request an Assignmentʼ button.
Your screen will now look like this.
Please click into the Second tab titled “Self Enrollments”.

This will open all Learning Paths created by your Prepare Me Manager.
Please Click into ‘View Allʼ (highlighted in the image above).
This will open all Learning Paths created by your Prepare Me Manager.
Please Self-Enrol into the learning path, by clicking on the Start Learning button to the right.

This will open up the Prepare Me AsIAm – Autistic Strengths & Visual Supports Course.
You can now begin the course.

You can access the Prepare Me AsIAm – Autistic Strengths & Visual Supports Resources suite by clicking the “Resources” tab at the bottom of your screen.

When you have completed Module 1 and Module 2 you will have completed the course. You can retake the course at anytime.

Please NOTE:
Please note that at the end of Module 2 you will see a screen that offers the option to purchase a Certificate of Completion. The production and offering of the Certificate is automatically generated by the Alison hosting platform and is not produced or offered by AsIAm – Irelandʼs Autism Charity.On the last screen you will see a page advising you can purchase a certificate.
