Cleaning and care
Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance work, you must switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply! You can do this by disconnecting the appliance from the power supply or switching off the main fuse.
We recommend that you clean the microwave oven regularly and remove all food residues from the inside and outside.
Do not remove the cover in front of the microwave outlet in the cooking cabinet!
Use a damp sponge with a little soap. If the appliance is not kept clean, the condition of the surface and inevitably the service life of the appliance may be impaired and a dangerous situation may arise.
If the door or door seal is damaged, the appliance must not be put back into operation until it has been professionally repaired.
Do not clean the appliance with a steam jet cleaner. The use of abrasive cleaners or products containing alcohol or solvents is not recommended as they can damage the appliance.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard metal scrapers to clean the glass door, as this can scratch the surface and possibly cause the glass to burst.
Neither water nor objects may get into the ventilation slots of the housing. Do not wipe out the cooking cabinet too damp, otherwise liquid will get through the openings!
If the microwave oven emits unpleasant odours or the cooking chamber is encrusted, boil a cup of water with lemon juice for 2 minutes and then clean the sides with a little washing-up liquid.
The turntable and roller support can be removed for easier cleaning.
