Installation instructions for LED mirrors
03.24

Before starting the installation

  • Please read the instructions carefully and check that the product is completely intact before you start the installation.
  • Installation instructions are also available as a video. Read the QR code below.
  • Please note that electrical installations must only be carried out by an authorized electrician.
  • Keep the mirror always dry. Do not let it get wet. Moisture can cause oxidation of the mirror.

You will need the following tools and supplies

  • Pen and measure + spirit level
  • Screws suitable for the wall material, 2–4 pieces (not included in the delivery) + screwdriver or screw gun
  • Use silicone if you drill through the waterproofing layer
  • Drill if attaching the mirror to a stone or tiled wall + appropriate drill bit

A step-by-step guide for hanging your mirror

  1. Be cautious of the edges of the mirror at every step, as they are sensitive and can easily break even from minor impacts.

  2. The mirror can usually be installed in four different positions, with a mounting groove on each side of the back frame. The structure of the back may vary depending on the type of mirror, but the mounting principle remains the same for all this type of mirrors.

  3. The mirror is attached to the wall using a J- channel, which comes with the mirror. Measure the height of the mounting bar and mark the location on the wall. Ensure with a spirit level that the J-channel is straight and attach it to the desired location.
If you drill into the waterproofing layer, remember to seal it with silicone.

  4. The electrician will connect the provided power supply. If an electrical outlet has been ordered with the mirror, you can connect the mirror yourself.

  5. Lift the mirror into the wall-mounted bar, ensuring that the mirror settles into the groove completely.

  6. Turn on the power and ensure that the light is functioning. Transformers and connections may vary depending on
the mirror model. The image shows one example of a mirror type. An authorized electrician knows how to connect the electrical components of the mirror.

  7. Remove the plastic shield from the top of the mirror. If there is adhesive residues on the mirror surface, it can be easily removed with a microfiber cloth or with glass cleaning detergent.

Care instructions

  • The need to clean the mirror depends on the environmental conditions. We recommend cleaning the glass surfaces regularly, at least once a year. Good cleaning tools for mirrors are a damp cloth or sponge, a soft lint-free cloth, and a rubber squeegee. Glass cleaning detergent can be used for mirror cleaning. For tough stains can be used denatured alcohol or acetone, but be careful not to let the substance come into contact with metal structures or the back of the mirror.
  • Please note
Never use abrasive or abrasive materials or tools. Use a soft and clean cloth for cleaning. To prevent scratching, cleaning tools should be clean and as soft as possible; always remove any loose dirt before abrasive cleaning.
