SAFETY INFORMATION
- Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, install, or operate this doorbell kit.
- All electrical work must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
- This wired video doorbell requires a 16 volt AC transformer with 10 watt or greater rating.
- Reliable operating temperature for the video doorbell is -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).
WARNING: This video doorbell requires a low voltage electrical
connection. Do not connect directly to 120V AC.
WARNING : Turn off power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing
transformer.

INSTALLATION

. Verify the transformer power rating 16V AC transformer with a 10W or greater rating.
WARNING : This doorbell requires a low voltage electrical connection. Do not connect directly to 120V AC. -
Installing the video doorbell flat
- Place the mounting plate where you’d like to install the doorbell and verify it is level.
- Make sure the circular hole-cut is on the top, and 4 stoppers are facing you to install the doorbell properly.
- Mark the surface through the mounting plate’s two holes and drill two 1/16″ pilot holes.
- Thread the two wires through the hole of flat panel, then secure the flat panel to the wall with long screws.
- Connect the two wires to the two terminals of the doorbell, put the rest of the wires into the terminal box, then turn on the power. The indicator light will turn on and start to flash red, which means the doorbell is waiting to connect. Then, fasten the camera doorbell to the flat panel; you will hear a snap if the doorbell is in place.
Installing the video doorbell with angled plate
- Place the angle mounting plate where you’d like to install the doorbell.
- Mark the surface through the mounting plate’s two holes and drill two 1/16″ pilot holes.
- Thread the two wires through the hole of the angled panel and secure the angled panel to the wall with long screws.
- Make sure the circular hole-cut is on the top, and 4 stoppers are facing you to install the doorbell properly.
- Thread the two wires through the hole of the flat panel, connect the transformer wires to the two terminals of the doorbell, put the rest of the wires into the terminal box, then turn on the power. The indicator light will turn on and start to flash red, which means the doorbell is waiting to connect. Secure the flat panel to the wall with 2 short screws, and then fasten the camera doorbell to the flat panel; you will hear a snap if the doorbell is in place.
Install the power module.
- Note: 18000179 can work with wired mechanical chimes or wired electronic chimes.
- Please verify if your doorbell chime needs extra power module or not, if it already has a power module, please skip this step.
- Remove the chime cover from the existing chime.
- Label the chime wires according to the terminal they are attached to (TRANS, FRONT, REAR).
- Remove the transformer (TRANS) wire and connect it to one of the wires on the power module using the wire quick connect (included). Connect the power module spade connector on this wire to the transformer (TRANS) screw terminal.
- Remove the wire going to the doorbell (either FRONT or REAR) and connect it to the other wire on the power module using the wire quick connect (included).
- Connect the power module spade connector on this wire to the screw terminal the wire was previously attached to replace the cover.
- Use the double-sided tape to attach the power module to the chime (if space is available behind the chime cover) or to the outside of the chime cover.
- Replace the cover.
IMPORTANT: Do not allow the power modulle or wires to touch the tone bars (mechanical chime – if installed) or cover the speaker (electronic chime) as this may affect the sound of the chime when activated.
Note: Choose correct chime type from APP after installation.
CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

Download the Globe Suite™™ app from the iOS or Android store Create an account and log in. Ensure your mobile device is running iOS 9.0/watchOS 20/Android™™ 4.4 or higher.

Verify your network
- Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected to a 24GHz/ 5GHz or mixed W-Fi channel. Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected t W-Fi. (This device supports both 2.4CHz / 5GHz or mixed)
- Consult your router documentation for detailed Instructions on how to change the wireless setting.
- Once your devices have been successfully paired, you can switch back to mixed mode or use a cellular data network to control your smart products.

Connect
Ensure the video doorbell is powered and all requested permissions are enabled on your mobile device: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location Services. When the indicator light flashes red and music sounds, the doorbell is ready to connect. On the app’s home screen, select the # in the top-right corner and select “Add a device.” The app will detect it within a few seconds. When discovered, select “Add” -
If your device is flashing red and fails, try using the QR code.
- Select the ‘+” symbol in the top right-hand corner.
- Select “Manual” • Select your product type.
- Follow the instructions within the app.
- Scan the QR code generated by the app from 15 to 20cm away. You’re good to go!

Setup
Name your video doorbell and choose which room to place it in. You can now control it directly from the app. -
Voice assistance
On the app’s home screen, select “Profile,” and select “Integration.” Choose your voice assistant and follow the instructions within the app.

SMART VIDEO DOORBELL INDICATOR LIGHT
TROUBLESHOOTING
The chime doesn’t ring when the camera doorbell is pressed.

POSSIBLE CAUSE:
- Transformer may not be working property.
- Video doorbell may not be working properly.
- Video doorbell chime may not be working properly

SOLUTION:
- Test transformer voltage output with a volt meter. Set the volt meter to read AC voltage. Voltage on the low voltage side of the transformer when the doorbell chime is NOT playing should road.

Remove the video doorbell that is not working from the door frame.

Disconnect the wires from the terminals and touch the bare wires together. If the doorbell chime sounds, the video doorbell is defective. Replace the video doorbell.

Disconnect the wire from the terminal marked “TRANS”. While someone presses the video doorbell at the front door, quickly touch the “TRANS” wire to the terminal marked “FRONT”. You will see a small spark if the video doorbell, wiring, and transformer are operating properly.
Repeat the steps for the “REAR” terminal and the rear video doorbell. If the wiring between the transformer and the video doorbell checks out properly, replace the doorbell chime.
Notifications are not working
- POSSIBLE CAUSE:
- The wired camera video doorbell is not connected to the Wi-Fi network
- The Wi-Fi router has lost connection to the network.
- The mobile device is not connected to a data connection.
- Notifications are turned off in device setting in app, profile setting app, or in the mobile device.
- SOLUTION :
- Move the wired video doorbell closer to the router.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi network is working.
- Ensure the mobile device has a data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular).
- Ensure notifications for the doorbell device setting in app, profile setting in app, or mobile device are turned on.
Wi-Fi Reset
The wired video doorbell can be reset in two ways.
- Remove the device on the Globe Suite™ app and wait until the light flashes red and music is heard, indicating that it is in pairing mode.
- Press and hold the video doorbell button for 10 seconds to reset the Wi-Fi network. The video doorbell will flash red and play music, indicating that the Wi-Fi network has been reset and the device is now in pairing mode.
Note: Follow the steps in section “Connecting Instructions” to reconnect the doorbell with the app.
