Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Mixer

  1. Use the provided Type-C to USB charging cable to connect the mixer to a standard USB charger.
  2. Connect the Type-C end of the cable to the mixer’s charging port and the USB end to a USB power source.

Setting Up Audio Levels

  1. Adjust MIC/LINE GAIN 1 for XLR interface volume control.
  2. Adjust INST GAIN 2 for Port INST. 2 volume control.
  3. Use the OUTPUT knob to control the volume of the morning speaker.

Connecting Microphones and Instruments

  1. For XLR microphones, connect the XLR cable from the microphone to the mixer.
  2. For instruments, connect them to the appropriate ports on the mixer.

Enabling Phantom Power

  1. Turn on the 48V switch when using a condenser microphone.
  2. Note that dynamic microphones may also require the 48V switch to be turned on if specified.
  • Connect the mixer to your MAC computer and ensure it is recognized as an audio device.
  • Check compatibility with devices that support OTG and standard USB protocol.

Production Description

  1. Safety Lock: The mixer can be locked to prevent theft (Similar to the security lock jack on a laptop).

  2. Charging Port: Charge the mixer via the Type-C USB charging cable (included).
    Connect the Type-C end to the mixer charging port and connect the USB end to USB port on a standard charge (not included) for charging.

  3. Output Port: Output to the morning speaker via the 6.35mm to 6.35mm audio cable (not included). Note that they correspond to the left and right speakers.

  4. MIC/LINE GAIN 1: Control the volume of the XLR interface. When the Level Indicator Light shows green, the sound quality is normal; When the Level Indicator Light shows yellow, it means the sound quality is close to distortion; When the Level Indicator Light shows red, that indicates the sound quality has been distorted.

  5. INST GAIN 2: Control the volume of the port INST. 2. When the Level Indicator Light shows green, the sound quality is normal; When the Level Indicator Light shows yellow, it means the sound quality is close to distortion; When the Level Indicator Light shows red, that indicates the sound quality has been distorted.

  6. OUTPUT: Control the volume of the morning speaker.

  7. MIC/LINE 1: Microphone interface which is appropriate for XLR port and 6:35mm jack.

  8. 48V: Turn it on when using a condenser microphone. Note: It also needs to be turned on if 48V is specified when using a dynamic microphone.

  9. Recording/Instruments Switch: When the button is pressed, the two channels in the computer record the sound of the microphone. When the button is ejected, one channel records the sound of the microphone, and the other channel records the sound of the instrument.

  10. INST 2: Instrument interface which should be plugged 6.35mm to 6.35mm audio cable.

  11. Headphone Jack: A separate headphone potentiometer controls the volume of the monitoring headphone with a 6.35mm to 6.35mm audio cable.

  12. DIRECT MONITOR: When the button, the microphone should be turned off and just can hear the computer sound. When the button is ejected, both the computer and the microphone sound can be heard.

XLR
First, plug the USB-A end of the USB cable into the computer and the USB-C end into the mixer. Then plug the female and the XLR cable into the microphone and the male end into the mixer.

Computer Set-Up (Windows & MAC OS)

Windows
Connect your mixer to the computer. Your computer will start the driver to install the mixer. Note that the computer may not pop up with an installation message either.
Input Settings

  1. Right-click the speaker icon at the bottom right of the screen. Click “Open Sound Settings”.

After the audio mixer has connected to the computer and the computer has recognized the audio mixer.

  1. Use the Type-C cable to connect the computer to the host, click the small speaker in the lower right corner of the computer, and then right-click to open Play Device.
    If the speaker displays “fifine SC1” and is the default device, the audio mixer driver has been successfully installed and has been recognized by the computer.

  2. Computer or other devices that support OTG and the standard USB protocol support connection to the audio mixer.

APPLE MAX OS (Only Applicable for USB Connection)
Connect the mixer to the Mac. The power indicator light shows green, indicating that the microphone is enabled. Your Mac will automatically install the microphone driver. But there may be no pop-up message reminding you of this process.
Output Settings

  1. Go to System Preferences.fifine-SC1-Streaming-Mixer-fig-6
  2. Click Sound to display the Sound Preferences panel.fifine-SC1-Streaming-Mixer-fig-7
  3. Click the Input tab and make sure you select “fifine SC1” as the default input device. Drag the progress bar to adjust the input volume. (You can also turn the mixer volume up or down by adjusting the gain knob on the mixer.)

Recording Software Settings

  1. When using the recording software, please select “fifine SC1” as the input device.
    Take Audacity for example. If you are monitoring audio through the headphone jack of your computer, select “Headphone (Realtek (R) Audio)” as the output device. Id you use the mixer headphone jack for listening, select “fifine SC1” as the output.fifine-SC1-Streaming-Mixer-fig-9

  2. Make sure to click off “listen to this device” in your computer system when you are using any recording software, or else you will hear a duet of yourself just like too much echo.fifine-SC1-Streaming-Mixer-fig-10

  3. For windows computers, we recommended Audacity. For Apple computers, you can use Apple’s own Quick Time player to test the recording.

  4. There are several ways to improve the usage. Come to our website and find Technical Support under the “SUPPORT” tab or directly search the Technical Support solution for your interested subject.

  • To ensure the best experience, please use the original audio cable and charging cable.
  • Do not open the 48V Phantom Power on the mixer when using a dynamic microphone.
