Installation Guide
- STEP 1: Unscrew the two screws on the side of the lamp cover using a Phillips screwdriver.
- STEP 2: Use a flathead screwdriver to open the lamp cover by prying it along a notch on the side.

What You Need

IMPORTANT: Prior to fixture installation, install junction box in ceiling or wall. When re-lamping, use only lamps specified in the fixture. Using other lamp types may result in transformer damage or unsafe conditions. The battery in this unit may not be fully charged upon unboxing. After electricity is hooked up to the unit, let the battery charge for at least 24 hours. It is then ready for normal operation. Unused wires must be capped with a wire nut.

- Suitable for use in damp environments at temperatures ranging from 32°F to 104°F. Not for use where directly exposed to water.
- Not compatible with photo controls.
- Not compatible with occupancy sensors.

- Not compatible with dimmers.
- Not compatible with timing devices.
- All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electric Code (N.E.C.) standards.

STEP 1
Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to unscrew the two screws on the side of the lamp cover. -
STEP 2
Insert a flathead screwdriver (not included) along a notch on the side of the lamp cover to prise open the lamp cover. Repeat on the opposite side to unlatch the lamp cover. -
STEP 3
Using a screwdriver, press against the lamp’s buckle, and using the other hand, hold and lift the unit up while the buckle is pressed in. Continue holding the unit to keep the buckle open and then press open the other buckle in the same way. Remove the unit from the housing. -
STEP 4
Drill a hole on the back of the housing and attach the EVA insulation to the back plate, then pull the input wires out. Mount the housing onto the junction box and secure with screws. -
STEP 5
Connect wires through the -box, (1) When using 120V AC, connect the black wire to the building utility. (2) if using 277V AC, connect the red wire to the building utility. Connect neutral wires to the white lead. Unused wires must be capped using enclosed wire nuts. (For detailed wiring diagrams, please refer to page 7) -
STEP 6
Connect the battery only after continuous AC power can be provided to the unit. -
STEP 7
Place the unit back into the housing. Replace the lamp cover and screw back onto the housing. -
STEP 8
Press the “TEST” button to check for proper operation of the unit.
